Mike...you are a shamless slut! I like that! Welcome mister. And do tell what is "far beyond"? -
Thanks mike...you stole my post!! It does suck when you cant have it your way. Every one has been there. I know I have. Does this sound familiar? "Today I was about to leave school in my sentra, put it in reverse, backed up and threw it in drive while standing still. *BAM* Then the car died, and it wouldn't restart-mind you I'm laughing hesterically" Time to pay. You'll get it figured out pretty soon. Be cool. Soon it will be in the past and a good drinking story.

Boys...dont make me pull this car over...
-
I think its the breeding rate. The lower the IQ the more pups they have. Then it goes exponential. Well I guess I'll get to work on my spiked out dune buggy. Where's my spiked ball and chain.....

WE HAVE A WINNER!! I must go lay down now....lost the will to go on....

You want to know what the hot high profit turnaround bang for the buck auto is right now? Dont laugh...the VW Bug! They are easy to work on, have tremendous after market and OEM support. Parts are CHEAP! You can get a Bug that runs good but needs love for under a thousand. Fixed up they fetch 7000 to 15000 dpending on the "look". They sell quick and fix quick. Thats my two pennys!

Yep. I can see it now. Joe ricer pulls through the drive up racking the pipes all is cool. Later when Joe nees to hop out for a whiz, no buckles to jack with. Ricer heaven!!

3.90gears and Precision Gear LSD installed

I really dont have any road courses around here. Wouldn't mind taking it some where to race but, in reality leaving sonic with both wheels smoking and being able to turn in a parking lot is what I need. I have been hoping for the group buy on the Q,s but looks like its going more the twose threese thing. We were hoping for deeper discounts but.... Tell me more about your Brute. -
Was just about to post a "don't anyone use easy outs anymore"? Plus I was wondering, the original post claimed "stripped" bolt. I asume that ment a "sheared" head or "rounded" head.? Bill are you speaking of the new craftsman easy out that slipps over the bolt head or the drill center of bolt type? Man I hate when the heads pop off! Had quite a few on the devil Z!!

Darn...well in this case I will start on the magnetic based guage cluster that blinks in time to th NOS bottle! What about spinners for the steering wheel?? Inert line lock or perhaps a drag chute container that sports a cold six pack? Lexan stickers for the windsheild? Five point harness jacket? PVC roll bar kit? Emergency adheasive backed glow sticks for under the dash? I must get to work!!! :willy_nil

Well after breakin what do you think? What price did you get on the installation kit? -
How about octane boost bottles that only have gas in them.Or maybe empty so you can have them laying around inside your rig. Or a velcro MSD ignition box for your dash thats empty. Glue on supercharger. Plastic nitrous bottle. A bolt on tach that plays your favorite tunes. A genuine Hurst shifter with a five speed pattern for you automatic three speed. Magnetic base guage cluster that changes color and blinks to the beat of your tach. Bolt on clutch pedal. Rear brake disk that bolts on under your wheel. Hey...I think Ive found my nitch!!

Need some high res images trying to decide on paint color..
Twoeightnine replied to a topic in Body Kits & Paint
I think that s a great idea! Have your painter spray a tube, round or box shape so you can capture various angles. Tinted clears can add alot of depth to the finish. Take pics! -
Must have been a mushroom moment. Stand by.....it sounds like AutoZotica. All high end two door coup type club that tours Cal in force. All of their events are well planed "drive" type shows. Havent heard much from them lately though. Sorry about the humor. I personally distain the stuff..

Have you considered checking the pressure at the sending unit with a analog thread in unit?

Best way to purge air from cooling system?
Twoeightnine replied to Sparky's topic in Nissan L6 Forum
Wow is that car a Devil Z? If the thermo was pulled you should have raging flow but the engine would slowly get warmer and warmer and over time eventually overheat or run on the high side all the time. Are you sure that you have impellers on the water pump? Blocked flow of any kind? It seemed classic a case of no flow. Heat builds in the engine and the resultant steam pushes the water in the lines and tank out. Believe it or not, I once installed a pump on a 396. dicked with the system for a couple of days. Same stuff you are going through. Pulled thermo and the like. Still barfed up after five minutes of run. finally broke down pulled everything apart. I stared in pure disbelief at the bare impeller shaft. No impeller was installed when it was rebuilt!! Replaced the pump, viola! Keep us posted on this one, should be interesting! -
What a crock. Going through a lot of trouble and $$ to "look" mean. Thats as bad as the turbo "sound" kits! Booooo....

Im seein double!!! http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=115211 I think you could have dropped your link in this post by hitting the edit button. Or does that not work on the first week? regardless, now your going to have to read both posts!! Nice ride!!

Clean ride there mister. Did you paint it? More power you say. Well you have come to the right place. As you wander the site you will find that more power is what its all about. Nearly unlimited powerplant options. There was even a disscussion concerning a aircrat engine swap. I think I may have accidently killed that one.. My choice....V8 Yeah! But a l28et woiuld be rockin if you wanted to stay straight six! Look around and enjoy!!

Way cool!! That would be me in the middle belly flying!! Yes I walk around with some pretty intense memories from jumping. But true that it is nearly impossible to discribe it to others even with pics. Being there is very special but hard to share. Heres one..After the third pass over the DZ at 13500 we were committed to our five way dive. The other passes found us over a huge cumulus nimbus that was newly forming. It had parked right over the airport. This time I just timed the spot, called the cut and the exit. Five to eight seconds after exit we were spread out by a bad exit but already closing on each other when we hit the cloud! Near instant darkness, dampness, and zero visability. I froze not wanting to crash into the other jumpers and rode out the fall. There was even lightning inside the thing. When we broke out the bottom at 3000 feet we were soaked and surprisingly at the same level about ten feet apart!! Seems we all froze in place. Note to self...dont do that again. Here is a vid of some real crazy jumping. Enjoy! http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=10977&cat=509

PrOxLaMuS© Yep just the chute. Not the container or the other chute (reserve). Then you need a suit, helmet, goggles gloves, altimeter and at most places they are requireing an AOD (automatic opening device) sometimes refered to as a AAD (automatic activation device) incase you go dummy and dont pull. The rookies usually buy gear that some one is trading off to upgrade but eventually one will have to drop some dough. Your friend wouldnt happen to jump out in Longmont? Been there done that! Got a blow up shot on the wall when I was out at Longmont. I also used to jumpmaster at the now defunck Sky Dive Colorado.

Check the thermo. If it's not operating properly you will get the exact senario you discribed. Otherwise start the engine cold with the cap off and run it untill you get flow. Not just a level drop, actual flow. Fill and flow (the thermo will slam shut if it gets a taste of the cold water) untill about an inch from the top. With the fan on it should not overheat. Once stable then cap it and run it for awhile. The temp should drop some once it gains pressure. I have always used this method with no probs. I would be eyeballing the thermo..... -
Way to go Bartman! Head down...thats some crazy $h1t!! I had always meen a "missionary" type jumper. The traditional freefall stuff. The last year that I was jumping, I was being gleened to get a tandem cert because of my light weight. Thats why they would allow me unlimited jumps. Did the class room thing, and tossed alot of dopes on a roap. On the weekends I would hire out for students that had just been signed off so they could get some free fall instruction and have something to dive bomb. I had to go back to the real world that final winter, did alot of traveling, and except for the occasional hop n pop didnt get to jump much. I loved jumping more than eating at one time. I keep myself OK by stating that one day I shall return. Ditto on the money thing. Once one has all of his gear, jumping is not all that expensive. Problem is...all of the training and gear IS expensive! I allways went for quality gear for obvious reasons. In Texas they would alway shout in unison....Eat....Phuk....Skydive!! Blue Skys!
