    oh great...I just cranked my car for the first time with the new electrical system and the first time I cranked it I ran it for about 15-20 seconds. the second time I started it it ran very poorly for about 5 seconds and stalled. No spark now. I think I blew the resistor under the coil because it was pretty hot. I don't know what could be causing the problem. The fuel pump and starter run much better with the new wires.

    I have been thinking about painting the interior roof of my car...maybe rolling it red and put a stripe down it and putting all my racing stickers on it.

    indeed...I roll it at about 20-25%...just get a piece of scrap steel and experiment.

    give you my keys??? Veritech...you are looking at like a 12 grand investment there!!! unless you buy those louvers...then I am at $11,960... and it is all under the skin...I think that camo on a z would be a cool idea...you should try it sometime and prove it to me...

    it says mineral spirits or acetone. I read that the acetone flash dries too quick so you will have MORE wetsanding to do... a good sized can of mineral spirits is like $7 at home depot or lowes.

    cool and welcome to the board. I'm not much of a v8 guy but it sounds like a great project for a s130. One thing you want to do on this site is search since there is so much information already in the archives. You may get flamed otherwise. thanks for serving for the USA...

    I just put masking tape on my car, cut out the logo, and rattlecanned it...lol you can even see a little overspray...

    hmm... they aren't really nascar wheels...they are for the ARCA remax series...fwiw...lol I would like something otherr than my "visa" made cheapo tires.

    I took a rattlecan to my car last night...I got bored while watching signs with mel gibson...not camo but it is still rattlecanning...

    yep. you could go 4.5 inches of backspacing easily on the rear but only on the front with like 195 or 205 width tires. I am running 225s al the way around and it cleared the front suspension by half an inch with the wider tires and more clearance in the rear with 4" backspace. I could use 5" now and 10" wide rims...anyone want to buy mine?

    the classiczcars one you could do. It looks like supports on the drivers side strut. I don't know about the other one...maybe a little extreme You could put a downbar from the strut tower top.

    search! and yes...you can run 4.5 backspace if you run a skinny tire... The diamonds have the lug holes cnc punched. I think it took about two months overall to get the wheels to me. mom'sz: those should fit nicely under the stock fenders.
