Thats a good idea. If it's a air leak not letting your car go over 10 psi then it should be pretty easy to spot.

Don't know about the door handle proublem but, the rest of the post was right on in my book.

I once had a boost leak at 12psi. Under vacuum it would seal up and I could never find it. Took lots of looking and investigating for me to find it. Take all your connections off and bend and twist them to see if you have a hole in one.

You can try your local auto parts places but, they won't have everything or maybe even anything in stock. Bushings, I think I would try MSA. http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT You could just buy everything from them but, their prices are not the best.

I hate to say it but, I think John is right on this one. It would have been nice of him to have just stopped by and said he was not going to be doing the Datsun stuff anymore and thanks for all the support and ideas to help build his buisness. If I'm not mistaken without the HybridZ group to help him with ideas and his designs he would have missed out on alot of buisness and profits. It's almost like when the products he had stopped selling or he ran out then it was then the time to stop hitting the site and lost his intreast in us. Nothing wrong with only making the products that sell well but, you can never forget the people who have already helped to make you money. Who knows maybe thats where your next idea or design might come from.

Sorry I don't have any pictures but, what I did was to drill the hole in the back side of the manifold in the collector area. This area seems to have plenty od meat so work with and doesn't get inthe way of installing the manifold onto the engine. Your right you just drill the hole and tap it to the correct size.

I asumed it was rattle can. Am I wrong? If it's rattle can how did you thin it?

I agree there are many way to get the job done and I also agree that the lager cobra maf would be a good choice if the funds and the goal involved where there to make the cash outlay worth it. In my ride with the 84 computer and the retune by JWT I'm right about 300whp. No dought the Cobra MAF would help free up a few ponies at the top of the scale. The only reason I made my first statment is because here on this site it is recommended that we stay away from statments that are not 100% true.

Nice work as always!!! Details even when they can't be seen. I now appreciate the oil pan job much more after todays job of replacing the Rack and Pinion. What a pain. Similar work involved as far as being able to get to the item in question.

I agree it's hard enough to be in business without stuff like this coming up. Sucks this happened to your rims and tires. Maybe this would be a good time for an upgrade if you wanted to.

So what is the condition of the car? Any thoughts on what kind of $$$$ it would take it get it rolling etc.. Any pics?

I always wondered what those little plugs where for? Great idea. Back in the day I had a bug and they have a similar place for the jack like that under the running board. When I used mine it bent like crazy.

All I've got say so far is that I think you actually have more crap in your garage than I do. Amazing! Any you might want to knock some of the stuff aside so you will be able to work on your ride in the less than perfect weather that is bound to come up before you get done. Not trying to flame you just offer a small peice of advise that I learned the hard way. Good luck and looks food so far.
