  1. That was sweet!!! that guy flipped out
  2. Thanks for the info. Tommarow, I'm going to go and look at everything again. I really want, and could use a bigger compressor but, I'm having a hard time parting with the hard earned cash. You could also say I'm looking for a killer deal on one. I know I'll be glad I did it when I get around to it. Hopefully it will be soon.
  3. So how do you like this compressor? I'm thinking of buying this one or one like it very similar soon. Also how's the wiring working out. I have a 220 plug in my garage to use but, I'm not sure about the wiring.
  4. We all gotta have something!
  5. Hybrid Zs personal web filter for cool stuff....
  6. I like Jeff's design but, thought it might be a little harsh for a street daily driven ride. I wanted a little give but, not much so this is the reason I went with what I did. My "solid" rubber and epoxy design actually center the wheel aswell. I guess the stockers flex as it settles down into position. Changing these bushing out is a time consuming task so whatever you use be sure your going to like it.
  7. If you do some searching on here there was a post about aluminum bushings being made and working out well. Take a look at the bottom of this page and you can see a pic of them.http://www.angelfire.com/space/nismo1turbo/indexRims.html I installed a new stock set and poured in cement crack filler to tighten them up some. Sorry but I only have about 200 miles on the car since I did that and have torn it down for more mods since then so I can't really tell you how well it's worked or not.
  8. Wow! Looking good. How hard is it to powdercoat everything?
  9. Great work. Looks good! Can't wait to see the finished product.
  10. I think I would go with the 18x6 unit if possible. Why not spend the little extra and get some more benifit while your at it. It will make it better in the long run. You won't be thinking Wow I wonder what would have happened if I had bought the bigger I/C.
  11. The turbo swap alone with the higher combression gets you to about 210 hp and more than that in torque. I did a similar swap years ago and it was like night and day. So much better I couldn't believe it.
  12. Welcome to Hybrid Z. Yes, it's all been done and just about every peice of info you'll need is here already doncumented. I want to encourage you to do some searching on here first and then as you have specific questions post them.
  13. On this type of thing I once had a customer that got carried away with throttle body cleaner so much that he hydro locked his engine. I didn't get all the details but, he was pretty embarrassed. It was one of thoses akward moments when I really had to hold back on laughing or making any gooffy comments to him.
  14. I agree but, I think the biggest thing here is that you just have to not be an idiot when useing these products. Like many things with cars you have to think about what your doing.
  15. I personally like carb cleaner. It's great but, you have to be careful around painted parts.
  16. Don't feel bad I thought it was grey also. Ofcourse it was really early when I first looked at the pictures.
  17. Do some research and you'll see exactly what Scottie is talking about is very true. I've been thinking about going with this or one like it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INTERCOOLER-Turbo-Supercharger-1200HP-Mustang-BMS25_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQitemZ8008654013QQrdZ1 I think this guy also has this shape but, in alittle shorter size that would fit better in a Z.
  18. That's really a first class setup you've got going there. Can't wait to see how it turns out when finished.
  19. I've had stiffer bushings on my TC rods for over ten years. Not one proublem. Not sure whats happened to other peoples rods but, mine have been fine. I highly recommend replacing your bushings with stiffer units. The differnce is amazing. You may hear some squeaks (sp) but, it's well worth it in my opion.
  20. The kits from Arizona Z do not offer an e-brake instead they offer a kit to lock the brakes similar to a line lock that is used for the fronts in drag racing. Other than the e-brake stuff the kits are very good. I have a similar kit on the front of mine and I love them. To adjust the e-brake on a ZX is simple. There is one cable that comes from the handle and leads back to a bracket where another cable is attached. There is a simple adjusting nut that can be tightened. Be careful you don't want to tighten this to much as that would make the pads drag on the rotor and over heat as well as other bad things. KTM-EXC, Sorry, I don't have any more info on the rear adapter brackets. Basically I just made and adapter that pushes them out (.75)and in towards the rotor just a touch. I don't remember exactly what the specs are. Wasn't really hard but, very time consuming.
  21. I had good luck with KVR pads on my Z. Also make sure you bleed the brakes good using some good fluid.
  22. That was great. By the way "How did you find that"
