  1. With proper functioning radiator, waterpump and fan your car should be fine with a 180* thermostat. You may need to have your radiator recored or simply replaced. I run a stock turbo 3 row radiator with the factory fan and have no proublem with cooling. This is in Dallas with the temps getting pretty high durning most of the year but, during the summer it gets real hot. Make sure your radiator is not cloged with junk and replace the thermostat with a 180* unit from Nissan.

I saw The Ring and I really can say I don't see why it was so scary. I know we all have differnt things that Key in on our minds but, Maybe I missed it. How was the little girls death connected to the video tape?
  3. I think it should be mandatory for any 350 Z buyer to have to take a history class on the Z car. I've seen several and all but, one had no idea of what kind of car I have. It's not like I drive a primered up beater but, they just look at me like I'm crazy. Ofcourse I just think to myself of what an *ss kicking I would give one. Ha ha......
  4. I've done the same thing that John is recommending. You'll need to be prepared to work sort of fast as it will heat up sort of quickly. You might also try the spray bottle with some soapy water trick like you do on tires.
  5. Yes your on the right track. Low weight high HP. The hot ticket on this board is to turbo a 240 or put in a V8. It's all about horsepower to weight ratio.

I didn't see it in the theather but, watched it on TV with my parents. They always thought I was mature for my age and could watch things like that. I agree what were they thinking. That movie scaried the crap out of. Another one was the irst "Nightmare on Elm Street" I had crazy dreams for months.
  7. I still have my greedy type S vented to the atomphere but, one of these days I'm going to weld in a spot for it to vent back into the intake before the turbo. I also made a intake tube that goes from the MAF to the turbo out of 3" manderal tubing. It's so much smoother than the factory plastic part.
  8. Brad, nice interior except for the carpet ofcourse. I still need that to. I am doing the autometer gauges aswell.
  9. That sounds odd to me. Maybe they made differnt one for different tranny's?
  10. Are you talking about the big aluminum peices that bolt to the block and the tranny? If so then I use them on my ZXT with the BW T5.
  11. I hate to say it but, I think Houston has even worse weather than Dallas. It must have to do with the close proximity to the coast. I've lived in Dallas all my life and I guess I've gotten used to the crazy weather here. I spent a couple of weeks in Houston during the winter there and the air was just funky. I'm sure someone from Houston would say thew same thing about Dallas weather.
  12. I'm sorry you said you were having proublems while on the high way and not while at a stop. You should have plenty of flow then. I would have the radiator checked by a pro or just replace it. Also like ohers have said make sure your shrouds are in place.
  13. Have you looked at your fan clutch. Most of the time they lock up when they go bad but, I've seen some that will not spin fast enough even when hot. If it's super loose wven when it's hot I'd try replacing it and see what happens.
  14. Try closing your plugs up alittle to maybe .030 and see if that helps with the stumble. Also with the factory computer putting the foot to the floor doesn't get much response in the lower RPM's. Have the timing checked by someone with a light. You'll be glad you did if you tear soethign up while running to much timing.
  15. One major piece of advise is to always be on the look out for vacum leaks. This will cause so much frustration in the theses cars it can make you pull your hair out if you can't find them. Also like you said there is not much there below 2500 or so RPM's. Like you said learn to drive it and will not be as noticable. Also many of the larger t4-t3's actually have better response than the factory t3.
  16. Heres what I've done with mine. Not sure why it would be unsafe as Sleeper suggested but, who knows? Anyway. This seems to be a convient location as it's out of the way and doesn't get as much heat soak as some other areas might.
  17. I'm running the bosch 440cc injectors that come with the JWT setup. They bolt in no proublem but, getting the connector to fit right is alittle tough.
  18. I'd like to see the brackets be alunimum for the weight savings but, not to beat a dead horse "what about the strengh?" Are we talking about Wilwood rotors or what? Were is a good place to get the AP calipers?
  19. I bought one from Couresty Nissan that is Carbon Fiber in a ball similar to the 8 ball type. This gives a good feel and does not get super hot like some other materials can. I had a friend who had a metal Momo shift knob in the same shape but, it got so hot during the summer that he had to drive with a baby sock over it to be able to touch it.
  20. If you take the time and money to replace the springs, shocks and bushings. Along with getting the compents back to factory spec or better helps. What I'm talking about are the ties rod ends etc. You'll have a much better handleing and much more enjoyable car. You can find camber plates for the ZX if you need the adjustablilty.
  21. Not real sure how you missed it but, JSK innovations is making a kit for the s30 chassis and will be working on some for the S130. Look further down the page and you'll see it.
