  5. Any know if the speedo and rpm gauges from the r32 cluster will fit the holes in the old 260z dash? Figured out it would be cheaper to get a r32 cluster and mod into the dash than buying auto meter gauges.

  9. That was what I tryed to tell. I am not sure about turbos vs. twin setup but if they have same wastegates, one turbo will have to work harder to build up the pressure if the other one is slacking. So you'll maybe end up with a broken turbo. This happens on the Audi 2.7 biturbo setup. Thats the only experience I have with twin's. Their wg's are to weak so when one break, the other turbo usually breaks.

  11. Thx. Gonna get me that book asap. As for the runners I was calculating the length but the length is dependent on what rpm area I want it to be most effective in. I did some searching on intake valve open time on rb25det.org. It was said to be open for 20 degres. Sounds a bit low? Stock cams though. Idea would be to get best flow just before turbo starts boosting. Gonna get me some tomei cams and might port head. Must check wallet Problem with stock manifoil in my Datsun is the piping on wrong side.   12. As long as the power fc can handle them I would buy them. If you want to run more boost later you dont have to worry about to small injectors atleast.
  13. Wonder how that low comp on cyl 1-2-3 would affect the turbo sitting there, compared to the other turbo on cyl 4-5-6. If that has something to say at all. Is this an engine you are going to buy?
  14. I am planning to fab my own intake manifoil for my rb25det in the Z. This way I can get a cheaper manyfoil that fits well. So far I have read quite alot about making them so I wanted to know if u guys sits on any more information, which I know you do Atleast 9" runners with "trumpet" ends inside the plenum. Atleast same liters plenum as engine. 2.5L (not quite sure about this) My plan is to make a wooden block and hammer a thin alu sheet around it to make the shape I want. Then weld it on to a plate where the runners go trough. Then either weld the runners onto the original cutoff manifoil or fit them with sillicone hoses. Since I am running 3" piping from turbo-IC-Throttle I could use a 80mm throttle since it's almost same size, but maybe 90mm to be on the safe side. Guess it doesnt realy matter aslong is not to large/small.
  15. Nice project! Any idea about spool up time on that monster? Whats redline set to at thoose L engines? How did you chrome your compressor house? Just grinding and polishing? Or do you usa guys have some special stuff for this ?
  16. I got me a used twin disc Exedy Hope it dont get to messy to drive with. Only problem is that I need to replace one disc cause the spine is torn apart. Didnt think that would ever happen, rather the sinter was teared up ?? seems strange.
  17. Zhad could you meassure this distance in red for me plz? I'm thinking about the same mounts but gonna run a quite large singel turbo, so when you say it's tight I get nervous
  18. I bought one of thoose XTD clutches for my rb25det enging. it was stage 3 and rated 430 hp. yeah right ! A friend of mine wrecked his clutch on his Volvo 2.1 turbo with roughly 350hp. The clutch fitted on his engine so we just changed the center spine for the gear box.. The clutch pedal was way to light so we feared this was a crap even before driving. After 3 hours of driving it started to slip so much that we had to remove it. I am now trying to get my money back so we'll see... Before fitting we milled the flywheel for 100% contact and everything was clean and tidy.     Any pictues of that blue color? I have a black car and it's alot hotter than my friends white, so thats maybe a reason to change your mind. anyways I would go with grey

  21. That second one there is placed over the 6th injector? I was looking at a RB20DET the other day and that thingie there was hooked up with injector # 5 and 6 so I couldt figure out what it was..
  22. On my RB I didnt get any ecu or stuff like that for the coils, so I was wondering how you guys made the rpm gauge work with the RB engine? Does the ecu have a rpm signal out or something?   23. My front bumper needs a bit rebuilding where the turn signals are supposed to be, so I have decided to fill the holes and go with the turn signals in grill. Maybe I can get a friend to make a mold so I can send it to anyone that wanna make bumpers for Hybridz I really want it done in carbon fiber...
