  1. I am going for the same engine build as you, but gonna run 22psi of boost. Guess I should get thoose forged pistons and rods before I put the engine in. Interesting post though. Finally someone took the testing a bit further and actually found a limit
  2. I have venom 800ccm injectors that I will use some day... I think.. or hope. The are quite cheap compared to all thoose apexi hks stuff though.
  3. Aye aye. if it was a blonde with big tits I might have trashed the car. On the CCW web page the prices on the rims are priced as a set. Does that mean 4 rims in US? Was thinking about kodiak wheels but the CCw's are way nicer.

  5. I see the engine is tilting slightly to the right. Is that standard? Anyone tryed to tilt it to the left to get more room for turbo or anything? Great pics btwn.
  6. This color would be nice on your Z! Any that could put on 2 or 3 colors on a Z wit photoshop? Like candy red on top and black at bottom of car or mix some other colors?   7. Run through the calculations on turbotech on http://www.turbobygarrett.com Will give you some idea about turbo choise vs hp.
  8. It looks like a ssautochrome turbo and not even close to Garrett. On the ssauto site you can see different turbos with Garret and IHI internals but that is just BS. Its china internals all the way. Would be better to go for a real quality turbo so you know what you have.

  11. When running open downpipe from wg, do you smell lotsa exhaust in the car when driving? I am not sure if I am gonna merge the engine exhaust with the wg or run another piping from wg and out behind the car. Gonna take up lotsa space with that.. but then again there is this sound the wg makes when it screams straight out Here are some pics from a swedish site www.savarturbo.se Lots of good info if you know swedish

  14. I payed 500$ for my HX40 and I have seen them go for this price several times. The HX model has the anti surge thingie so you might want to grab one of thoose.
  15. More boost, smaller wg? more boost = more exhaust? I dont understand why...but I guess it's correct since there is a 1400 hp bmw here in Norway running one single 60mm wg.
  16. My guess would be abs ecu. If you dont know what it is and it dont look expensive, you dont need it

  20. Looking good. Atleast u have the proper tools for the job. I got me a tig welder yesterday so first I have to learn how to use it, then I can work on my manifoil Did some searching on ebay after cheramic coating but didnt find anything for exhaust temperature. Guess summit heat bandage will do.
  21. If cyl 1 is closest to the cam shaft, then I had to slot out the top holes on cyl 4 and 5. I'm gonna drill all the holes bigger anyway. They had a wery tight fit and when the heat gets on they might break I guess. My turbo also has a divided flange so I must call McGuyver to find a solution to make the manifoil into divided.
  22. I have just the same manifoil for my rb25, but I havent tried it yet. One thing I was worred about when I saw it, is that the wg pipe sits in the mid of the collector. The exhaust must turn 180 degrees to reach the wg = bad flow. Think I will cut the whole manifoil up in peaces and make a new one. Edit: now I had to go home and take a look at my manifoil. Luckily I only had to slot out 2 holes a bit to get it on. The turbo wont fit at all though so I am going to cut it all apart. Holset HX40 is a beast!
