  1. sounds like a ricer move..... Just trying to be loud or is there some other goal in mind?
  2. I think someone did a flow test of a bunch of differant stacks and foundd the factory air cleaner stacks the be the best.
  3. or you could just build a motor that makes the power well with low boost. This is where the whole "matched parts" thing comes in to play
  4. Just ask someone with a v6 f150 or chevy 1500
  5. good luck making any power with that. Search it!
  6. I think the late s14 has t28. the early still has t25. The late s14 has the same turbo as the s15 minus the bb
  7. enough said http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFw5eb0Czdc
  8. Hey man, thats a good start on that ka. Time for jesus boost!!
  9. Figured I would update this some lol. So, I dont remember the dates and stuff but here is a summary. Since I have melted down #1,5&6(i have pics i may post) No problem, swaped it out. Noe the car is over heating and has crazy boost creep, along with glowing thee exhaust manifold & turbo at highway cruising. Of course its siting at like 4500-5000rpm (4spd). Been lazy, car parked in the garge. May mess with it this weekend.
  10. what for??? The 2.0 turbo is the evo x motor.
  11. from a mercedes maybe? lol
  12. Walbro would be the wise choice. I personaly run a AFR on any motor, espcialy a boosted one that is not stock. I do understand a person on a budget can always do everything right away. I would run the AFR with the factory pump for now. The factory pump will flow more than enough for the factory injectors anyway. so....... AFR gauge.....do it Fuel pump......stock will do for now.(should do 240whp easily if its in good shape)
  13. I have done some searching lately for my auto tranny swap. Any info anyone has I would love to get. Well, info on building and gtting the tranny to hold some power thanks
  14. I would not go right at a tranny swap. I would get the car running the way you want it first. The factory tranny will hold pretty much any NA L motor. There are only 2 weaknesses I have really seen from them. 1. If you are a drag racer or just dump 1st gear eventually you gonna break it. Usually you still need decent power and sticky tires. 2. 5th gear is weak. I blew out my 5th gear after about a dozen 13psi pulls. The turbo 5 spead is much better at this. I personally am currently running the 4spd and its holding fine.
  15. I did a 13.8 @ 99 with a bone stock l28et swap with open exhaust. Stock boost and everything. Same turbo with some upgrades got me into the 12's 180hp out of an all motor L28 is not hard. 200hp+ is a little more complicated but still very do-able. Cam, shaved head, headers, bla bla bla....... If you are just looking for some cheap fun n2o would be the way to go
  16. A moderate L28 in that 260z could easily get into the 13's. Or a little of the giggle gas for some funny sub 13's.
  17. Yep, it can be done. I would not use it with the bracket though.
  18. Was doing some resurch and figured I would dig this up to seee if there were any new ideas or findings.
  19. think maybe you should ask people with some rb experiance?
  20. i think the 2 pics above would say otherwise
  21. Well if it runs and your happy with it I would never tear the motor down for that.
  22. This is a bit hard to understand. Try using punctuation! Also a weak spark in those cylinders could cause them to carbon up like that. I would replace plugs, wires and the cap and rotor at least.
