  3. I dont think you are going to get much help going after people that did actually give you an answer. Your question was "does anyone know where i can get some forged turbo pistons??". You them procede to ask " OR can i use the flat tops forged and use a larger headgasket to bring compression back down or does that screw up the reliablity that i am looking for?". You did get you answer. Wich was had you taken the time to do a little searching around YOURSELF, you would have come across several forged piston options for the turbo L28. FYI - More searching will show a factory L28 Shortblock is capeable of 400whp+.
  4. stock l28et with big turbo and 60mm tb plus exhaust and ecu. Crappy tune did 242hp & 314tq. Estimating 300whp @17psi from 1/4 mile times.

  7. well sorta....kouki z31 turbo had a t28 and higher compression. This was to address customers camplaining about off boost drivability and lag/threshold
  8. dremmel with a carbide bit a notch in onee side then just use a chisel and a hammer to break it out.

  11. You have a part number for this filter because I am pretty sure it doees not exhist. On a few hundre z/zx I dont believe I have ever seen a screen or filter before the pump.
  12. Funny, I have seen quite a few 280z & zx with the factory fuel pump in them. Still running strong decades later. The station pumps have a filter and screen anyway.
  13. Your injectors are maxed out when your AFR and duty cycle say so. Not by any preset PSI. Personally I was running around 15psi with stock injectors.
  14. Aw man, probably been knocking the whole time. You just couldn't hear it with the open exhaust.
  15. If the tranny is from a 6cyl L-series motor it will bolt up. Do a little bit of searching around the forums.
  16. well then it sounds to me that the problem is the sediment in thee tank not the filter location. I have not seen personally any z car with a filter before the pump other than the intank pumps with a screen. I would take care of the problem and not be trying to find a way around it. Drop the tank and inspect it. If there is a large amount of sediment then clean it out and coat the inside with a protectant/sealant. This a much better way to go about this.
  17. Why do you want the filter there? Good chance it could starve the pump for fuel regardless of in/out size.

  19. Never heard of a fuel filter being too restrictive for a little ol 255l. What car is this going on? Cause if its on the thee Z32s in your sig then you just bought yourself a pump that flows less than you stock one.
  20. copper spray is not really needed. Sounds like the pcv may not be working.
