  1. i dont know, that look like it was put together rather well. It just looks old not poorly crafted IMO.
  2. here ya go. I hate ebay links cause they will expire.
  3. ummmm, yeah............. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=136780&highlight=l28+setup+list
  4. i doubt you will ever notice the differance (aside from a crazy NA motor)
  5. those pics of the bov are on the IN side not the OUT. So while the throttle is closed the hot air from the turbo will be exhausted in to the atmosphere, all while the air laying still in the intercooler has more time to cool down. As does the IC.
  6. The rod does not apear to be straight. The compressor side looks like it needs to be clocked slightly counter clockwise.
  7. one advantage I see to mounting before the air goes through the IC is core temp reduction. When it blows off the HOT air from the turbo will be expelled before it gets a chance to soak the IC with its heat. Probably minimal differance but a differance none the less. I will poast up some pics once the whole thing is finished.
  8. should keep the extra flow of heat out of the intercooler too
  9. this is where I put mine, was wondering where else you guys put them
  10. yeah, not really. Saw 3 in one junk yard on saterday. I have a rebuilt L28 bottom end that only has 1600 Miles I need to sell!!!
  11. haha, my car had been down for a while. Long enough for a buddy of mine to have never seen it run properly. He drive a z32 (dyno 536whp) and his car would get coments and such at meets and thing. Now where ever we go my car is getting ALL of the wow's. The huge front mount sure helps though. He used to call my car crappy and he laughs so hard once we arrive and everyone is gawking at mine not his.
  12. one of the videos is labled highway 9 on to 17. that is where i got 9 from
  13. looks like highway 17 & 9. not sure where, they are his videos that I happen to have also. they are labled highway 17 and highway 9
  14. just found this video if a buddy of mine and one of his friends tearing up some mountain roads in calli. This vid is from about 6-7 years ago.
  15. I am just saying that the ZXR is special. I respect the car and the people that designed it. if you like the way it looks and what it is great. If you want to do a motor swap then get another one, that is just MY opinion. And I would like to point out the sub forum we are in. this is the forum i post in because I have a L series, not because I think it is the only motor that should be the only motor people put in the car, just maybe the special models. Besides I see no problem with being a purist in the Lseries forum. Once again, just my opinion.
  16. i think you should not screw up a zxr with anything like that IMHO. just fix it and enjoy it, or sell it to some one that would enjoy it for what it is then get another project
  17. you will find all you will get little slack from members here for not searching first. Just FYI. the stock motor does not need a larger TB there are too many other restrictions to worry about first.
  18. i believe thay are suposed to do that. Otherwise the boost would not level off, it would keep climbing. That is why they call it a boost controler, because it controls the boost.
  19. well just doing a cam swap can cost seveal hundred USD easy. also su carbs would pick up some good power and work well on inclines
  20. A narrowband o2 is trash!!!!!!!! you can not tune with one. Buy a descent wideband!!!!!! You can get them for like $200 shipped.....hum, sounds like some cheap insurance for such a build.
  21. i knew there was I just found this pic first. chances are there is a spring tool out there for every motor
