  1. Was das fick? Machen sie keinen sinn!!!
  2. Carry an extra set of belts, spark plugs, a gallon of ATF and a small assortment of tools, as well as stay in an area that has cell phone coverage.
  3. Here is how I categorize water temps 170-205-----just right 206-220-----turn the fan on 221-235-----keep your eye on the gauges a bit more and cruise around a little 236-250-----drop the motor to idle and idle off the track, or back into the pits 251-300-----shut the motor off and pull off the track immediately, but leave the fan/water pump on and hope for the best.
  4. run compressed air through all of the hard lines both on the car and in the tank and it SHOULD dislodge just about everything.
  5. I sold one of those a couple months ago. They are bitchin' and the quality is pretty good too.
  6. For the last time! the s130 does not have a MAF!!!!!!! a MAF and AFM work VERY differently..
  7. I don't condone spoon feeding. I'm also not robin hood, nor do I wear tights.
  8. I just spent two minutes on google and found you're answer. Maybe you should try the same.
  9. I don't know about you guys in Florida, but in california, most radiator shops will boil out metal fuel tanks. I have never done it without re-sealing the tank in por-15 though, so I don't know if it leaves the factory coating or not.
  10. Any hose/hydraulic shop should be able to make you one pretty cheap.
  11. You can get rubber plugs in just about any size, or you can plug it with RTV.
  12. just about all catback systems are legal, as long as they still meet noise requirements.
  13. Use headlight covers? There are so many different ways to conceal a projector lens on these cars with the sugar scoop headlight buckets.
  14. Buy the cheapest 7" plastic lights you can find off of ebay and retrofit some audi/bmw/porsche..etc projectors into them. It's about the only way you are going to get more light that you can use, without blinding oncoming traffic.
  15. Use a relay as well as one of the ford emergency fuel cut off switches.
  16. I was just listening to that song to... I'm still on the fence about using a DSLR as a video camera though, I'm sure they can capture some good video but it just doesn't feel right when doing it.
  17. Lets not forget this. He is trying to compare an L28et with god knows what inside it to a built vg30et in a z31.
  18. PM racer98 he is one of the few importers that you can actually trust.
  19. Great job answering a post that is almost a year old guys...
  20. The ONLY safe way to mount a harness is to a welded in roll bar. there are alot more factors in to mounting a harness then just making sure the mounts themselves are solid. IMHO, I would take no seat belt, over one mounted to the strut tower.
  21. It was all good, until I saw the mirrors, then the cluttered and ghetto engine bay.
  22. i had a hitch on my last two z31's and would pull small sub thousand pound trailers occasionally, one was welded to the rear frame rails and the other was bolted to the floor using big washers and 6, 3/4 inch bolts. having a small receiver protrude that rear just below the bumper wouldn't look that bad.
  23. There is some BAD body work done to that car and I'm not talking about the kit itself. almost none of the gaps on the body line up, over spray on almost everything, you can see that they didn't even take off the bumper to paint it and that a portion of the gap is filled with paint runs, the used but splices to put new injector connectors on and didn;t even make any effort to clean up the engine bay, but yet found time to install a non EGR intake and go to the autozone "performance" section and pick up a home made intake and msd coil, some of the added vents have grills, some don't, some are painted, some aren't, there is overspray on the entire right side of the car, where it looks like they taped off the glass instead of the trim and didn't bother to take the emblems off, his added hood vents are off center, the side skirts look like rain gutters riveted to the rockers...etc I could make a list twice as long as this, but my time is worth more. If you have the $7500 to buy this atrocity of poor workmanship, expect to pay about the same to fix it all. (Nice interior though.) IMHO, he probably had a cool vision in his head, that didn't quite turn out the way he had envisioned.
