  1. Just go to Autozone. Thats what I did. Mike.
  2. Hey, Brian I think they are rubber just like stock. Just less expensive than a new one from Nissan. If I understand the website, the standard (8000 series) is similar to stock. The plus model, (9000 series) is rubber also but is built to stay together if it separates and therefore is rated to 10K and is SFI approved. The website mentions something about special rubber or something. Check out the link above. Mike.
  3. Hey all. Regarding the bumper/wing on the Countach. I think I read somewhere that it was put on the car by the importers because the front of the car was below minimum federal height standards. I think it was the owners option to remove it after purchase, and some actually did. Mike.
  4. HMM... Looks interesting. I do need a new one. Keep us posted. Mike.
  5. Darius, the whole thing looks fantastic! Any updates to the motor other than the obvious coils and exhaust work? Mike.
  6. Here's one from Ceelo that I hadn't seen until the other day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQAHMj2qFxE Great tune and the video cracks me up. Mike.
  7. Ouch! There is a place here in Phx. on Washington called Papago Plating that quoted me $150.00 for each bumper. Front or rear, and that included any hole filling or whatnot. They are pretty well known around here for Quality work too. I had them do a bike frame for me about 10 years ago and it was beautiful when done. Sounds like the places around you guys are a little high. Mike.
  8. Ok, soooo... Find an S2000 with a blown motor and drop an LS1-t56 combo in and be done with it. Mike.
  9. V8 MIATA:D Seriously checkit, Mostly with ford I think. http://www.monstermiata.com/v8Miata_Image.asp?theType=Car&theHeader=V8Miata%20Photos&thePage=CarPhotos And here is one with an LS1. http:/http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=341955/ If your budget is around 20K its definately doable. Mike.
  10. Here's what Im runnin. http://www.arizonazcar.com/brake.html bottom of page. Wilwood and 5lug conversion. Mike...
  11. Here is a link for the turbines they are using. http://www.bvmjets.com/turbine/turbine_power.htm Mike.
  12. Never mind the batman reference, that's totally cool!
  13. Yes, The whole bar is made of spring steel. Daves aluminum bars have less flex than the stock bar. With the power you are putting down you may want to talk to dave about a custom piece. I used to work with the guy who makes all of dave's parts, he may be able to come up with something a little more robust for your situation if you think it is needed Mike.
  14. Look at the in car video. http://shearerfabrications.com/dev/gallery/albums/06-dsmshootout/7_95_182_incar.wmv & watch the tach, If it is correct, It looks like he launches @ 8Krpm and shifts @ around 10.5K Super fast car. I used to have one but not that fast! Mike.
  15. LOL, No such thing as a free lunch. Mike.
  16. Hmm, So it is. It was not up a while ago and all I could do was order a catalog online. Cool. Mike.
  17. Sorry, There really isn't anything available for our cars in the stock bolt pattern and backspacing except the Watanabes and other such difficult to find/get Jap stuff. I finally did the five lug conversion from Arizona Z-Car with the 12" brakes. Now I can use anything that fits on a 5 on 41/2" bolt pattern. Which means any 5 lug Mustang stuff. Here is what I wound up with. They are 17x8" with like a 25mm offset. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=6440&cat=500&ppuser=14594 Good luck, Mike.
  18. Charlie, You will fit in a Z. Just cut out the stock seat rails and make new ones. Mike.
  19. The car is looking great Mull, I love the cage and the flares. For those looking for steel flares in North America, These guys have them on page 31 of their current catalog. http://www.blackdragonauto.com/index.htm They look like this. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=12425&cat=500&ppuser=14594 Unfortunately the catalog is not available online. Can't wait for the next video, Mull. Mike.
