  1. Great thread, I love sharing music ideas. These guys crack me up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgaLY0J5wkQ Also been diggin on these guys lately. Never seen that guy Qbert on the turntables, that drummin vid is amazing. Keep 'em coming guys. Mike.
  2. Thats what I was thinking, but it's a LOT of fab work. Mike.
  3. Hmm, I'm not a fan of body kits. But.. that actually looks pretty good. It's hard to tell, is that a charcoal metallic? Mike.
  4. Yep, tiny and very very low. There is one rotting away in a storage yard near me. I got a close up look at it one day. I was thinking maybe honda or mitsu drivetrain but the frame rails in the rear looked too narrow, as can be seen in the photo above. Totally cool car though. Mike.
  5. Ugh, I just threw up all over my keyboard. That's disgusting... Mike.
  6. 3K! UHMMMM , nevermind. Oh, I almost forgot is that Au. or U.S. dollars? Nice wheels though. Mike.
  7. GM80; What are those rods from? What is the compression height on those pistons? Is the pin in the bottom ring area? If not how close? Where did you get your pistons? Mike.
  8. Uhhhhmmmm, YEAH. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT MANIFOLD? IT'S IT'S I'TS BOOTIFUL. Mike.
  9. Sometimes I'ts just cheaper to buy a whole motor from a wrecking yard. If I'ts nothin special. I know around here if you go on the right day they're 1/2 price. At some yards that means around $150.00 and then you can avoid all the machine work. Just hone the bores and replace the rings and bearings, and you're good to go. Just a thought.
  10. The tt obviously needs some tuning. Mike.
  11. Hey Vinh, Kudos on the ls1 swap. That daytona is looking great so far. The ZXT Roadster is beautiful, probably the nicest Z/ZX convert I've ever seen Mike.
  12. ZDrifter, Welcome to Arizona. If you are looking to see some cars, try the Pavillions at Indian bend Rd. and the Pima freeway (rock-n-roll McDonalds) on saturday eves. You might see some of the desert z guys there 1st weekend of each month. I'm in the Tempe/Mesa area. Cheers, Mike.
  13. ZCAR The wiring diagrams are in the back of any of the haynes/chilton manuals. Sorry no harness, but almost any 78 in a junkyard would willingly give one up. Mike.
  14. 260DET, the airspeed is NOT the same. And higher airspeed over a surface generally creates a lower pressure at that surface. Mike.
  15. Those aren't stock pistons. You may be able to use them with a p79 or p90 head without valve reliefs. I think they were designed to be used with these heads to slightly raise compression. With any other head you may have problems. Yes the math looks ok to me. Mike.
  16. Looks a little pricey to me. Search google for ENCO and look at their small lathes and drill presses. I'm pretty sure for around 6-700.00 you could find similar capabilities. Mike.
  17. Are you using brass, or steel plugs? Brass plugs are much softer and easier to install, but also come out easier. If you are using brass, you might try using steel plugs and see if it helps. Just a thought. Mike.
  18. 2003z, I belive the notch goes toward the front, which will probably put your dome in the area where your valves are.If this is the case you will need to add valve reliefs to the domes. Mike.
  19. What might be too short? What clearance? Are the pans interchangeable? If not then a custom pan and pickup are in order. Mike.
  20. ButlersZ, Don't listen to that local mechanic about wheel adapters. I run the 4 to 5 lug conversion kit with wilwood brakes from arizona z-car. About 2 years ago i hit a curb and actually broke the lip off of one of my wheels. I took everything apart and ispected ... Nothing wrong , Except the very bent stub axle. If you use adapters just use quality fasteners and torque them properly and you should have no problems. Mike.
  21. Garrett, Thanks for the link, good prices for large silicone. Looks like cheapturbos is here in the Phoenix area. Hmm. Mike.
  22. Garrett, Any chance you have pics of your engine compartment? I have a 60-1 with a to4s housing (4" inlet) and I am wondering how you plumbed yours. Thanks for the info on the turbo, sounds interesting. That wheel is capable of higher P/R than the 60-1, correct? Mike.
  23. Ok, so spill it. What's a "Blowzilla"? Mike.
  24. Fantastic post J.M. BTW I have a r200 long nose from a 200sx turbo also. '87 If I remember correctly. It's a 4:11 open, no lsd in mine. Mike.
