    Sounds like a cheap asphalt mat. I would go with something better. Search, there are a couple of great posts on here about sound deadening.

    If it's an 83, it would be a ZX. As for the ECU problem, sounds like there is an intermittent short in the wiring somewhere.

    Test the wiring from the sensor back to the ECU.

    Lol.. Yeah my friends had to pull me off the car last time. I went crazy with a sawzall. Couple too many cases, bottles, and some pain killers. Took me an extra day to fix fix the body work I had just finished.. Yeah I was a little pissed .

    I think your rough idle problem when trying to run leaner on idle, is too short of a PW. That is probably why it ran ok with the 550's. The only way to correct it with large injectors, is to turn down the fuel pressure.

    Very nice build. You should make some cups for those air filters and run small scoops off the hood into them...

    Turbo timer and Synthetic oil. It's amazing how much higher temperature the breakdown point of most synthetics are compared to regular oil.

    I think the RAAMmat BXT is about 32# a roll. I used the same stuff. It's a great product. Took just a little over 1 Roll to completely cover the inside of my 74 260Z.
