I can't wait to start shooting w/ my new baby.... It wasnt as expensive as everyone elses RB's on HybridZ but I still love it My new(used) Mamiya RB67 proS

I would be all for doing photoshoots of the winners (the local ones). It would be a simple photoshoot though, not a full-blown shoot like the ones I get paid for.

I know some people are sick and tired of seeing car being photographed but its what I do now (on the side) so here are a few I did for a friend of his AE86....

Thanks!..... the setup I used for this picture is very simple... all I used was a tripod, and a ton of bungee cords, and a camera with a slow shutter speed. Shooting this I used a 3 second shutter speed moving at about walking speed. I just pushed the car so i didnt get vibrations from the car being on. here is how I had it set up. sorry for this blurry picture but the cameras auto focus wasnt working too well in the dark and one last thing... Make sure that if you do this kind of shot... your tripod is very sturdy because even the slightest movement will show up.. and also make sure that the surface your on is pretty level so you dont get bounce.

I haven't had any work done by them yet but there is this place that seems very legit. I've seen some of the cars they've done and all I was able to say was wow!... they even had a booth at MSA this past year. The only bad thing is that its kinda far from you. I'm glad you guys like em... ckelly78z- I'm actually going to try and find a place that will make a life size print for a reasonable price.. it would make a great garage poster. Lunar240z- thanks.. I kinda love em too. BRAAP- Thanks...yeah I have some photos in that thread already but when I finish editing some of the others I'll post them up in there. Justin- I'll be waiting for you to finish that monster so we can set up a day to shoot. Well In order to take a photo like that there is multiple ways but the way I did it was using a rig...kinda. In the automotive photo biz, rig setups are a big hush hush so it was hard for me to find any info on it. No one would share photos of their set up as they are affraid of "losing their jobs"... I would rather help others with their photography rather than keep them in the dark so here is how i did it... I basicly clamped an old tripod to one of the rear tow hitches and then tied a rope around the tripod neck and the wiper arm for stabilization After that since it was the middle of the day and i needed a slow shutterspeed, I just set the camera to its lowest ISO (100)and put the smallest f-stop possible (f22) then I used a one second shutter speed. I put down the e-brake and a friend of mine pushed the car while i fired away with a remote. The photos came out way overexposed but with some PP that was fixed right away. If you have any other questions, go ahead and PM me and I'll be more than happy to try to help anyone out.

Well kinda... For my photography class we had to take 5 digital images of "something that we love" and alter the photos to make them look like old film photographs. The only thing I love more than my family and friends is well... my Z. So I took these images, edited them and turned them in. Today was our final and we were going to critque everyones photos and vote on who did the best. After two hours of waiting, our instructor told us who won. It was me and my Z!!! So here are the photos... they aren't the best ( I could have done better) but it worked out for me. enjoy and CC is welcome

if it was only so simple to do this do our real z's.....

One time I was teaching my GF to drive stick and when we were at a red light these jack a** guys pulled up next to us in a 5.0 mustang. They kept reving at us but i just told her to ignore them and let them be stupid. Well she didnt listen to me and she revved back at them and nodded at them like she wanted to race. so when the light turned green they punched it while my GF just started going like any normal person would. The mustang had just passed the intersection when BOOM!! their motor blows. I'm sitting in the pass seat just laughing while my GF drove passed them yelling I BEAT YOU!!!. They were sooo pissed. That was probably one of the greatest moments ever for me.
