    yeah, they'd just replace it with the correct yoke, assuming the splines aren't worn down on the transmission. might be easier to have a drivetrain shop chop it off and weld a new one on

    I'd call up John @ JCI, he's pretty helpful. See what's going on. How many miles have you put on the swap since you finished it?

    my problem with CL is unless you bring a compression tester and a battery with you, you don't know what you're getting. that said, I bought my car on CL, but I also drove it home, and hooked up an OBD2 reader to the car first and checked for codes/errors.

    Bringing this back from the dead while searching LS1 exhaust info... am I looking up the right part #? did they change after 4-5 years? It's showing a 2 into 1 muffler, 2.5" on every end, 2 in, 1 out... wouldn't it be better with 3 or 3.5" out? If the original poster still has pics of the exhaust, could you please post them? thanks

    actually, I didn't do this. Capt_furious did a few years ago, when the car still ran. he's a web/photoshop monkey.

    I also have a mazda3s, 2.3L. i get 29-30mpg mixed, handles fantastic, and zippy enough to get out of its way on freeways. Depends what you want out of a daily driver. Power, fuel economy, comfort. Pick 2.

    great pics. i am assuming the crossmember is just a mockup, and not the actual piece you'll be resting the engine on How are you doing your wiring, and since you're local, maybe I can bug you for a hand with my LS1 wiring, hehe.

    well, you can use the way back time machine to look at the webpage (no joke) http://www.archive.org/index.php What I meant was, all the old profiles that existed were imported at time of conversion to minimize data loss. Then people could go in and make edits/changes
