  1. but you are bound by 24 hours. thinking about prolonging that, while knowing the terms that it can't be extended, is relatively useless
  2. great! I need LS1/240z wiring, and I suck at it. Trade you skill sets Yeah, that used to be an option on the profile for MSN/hotmail to set your status as single/in relationship/married/divorced. I think they took it out in newer versions for LIVE, but retained the old imported stuff. People request you without your consent - it's like junk mail being sent to you without being asked for it. Once someone gets a hold of an email (often times, mass mailer scripts generate guessable emails and email out, whatever doesn't get rejected they reuse.) I've had some email addresses that have never been published ANYWHERE get spam mail from out of nowhere.
  3. microsoft hotmail is windows live, it's the same network. hotmail got bought out by microsoft a few years ago, and all of their data has been merged into LIVE! accounts. So, what happened is what your old hotmail profile was imported along with millions of others into Microsoft's LIVE! network. When you signed up with MSN messaging service, you used your hotmail account. When the MSN account is created, it makes a web profile that matches that information. Now, MSN and LIVE! are linked as well, see where this is going? So basically your old profile was imported. Point out to your wife that your activity hasn't been shown in a few years. Hell, link her to this thread so she can see what's going on. PM me with email/account you used, so I can research and help you, if you want (don't send me passwords)
  4. rofl. I might have to quote this.
  5. Also, make sure hte original poster changes name legally to James Tiberius Kirk? to the original poster: the profile data is stored on the server, not locally and is not relevant to messenger version. You would have to login to the messenger site, ie login.live.com, and go to preferences and edit your details. Or options from new messenger itself. Check account info tab as well. If for some reason that doesn't work, you would have to find an older version of MSN (comes standard with a fresh build of windows XP, default location is C:Program FilesMessengermsmsgs.exe on windows XP systems, and unless you removed it manually, should still be there), login with your hotmail account or whatever you used before. and go to tools->options, see if there's anything there you can change. Facebook is not associated with messenger though, so if there's a facebook account that you didn't create, I'd be worried why someone set up a facebook account in your name with your pictures
  6. They are just machined aluminum pieces, as long as their dimensions and measurements are identical, you're paying for the name, and maybe some fit and finish.
  7. did you put the strut bearing in there? you need one in the insulator
  8. yep, that was the original plan for the rotary - parallel rails, both exiting and going into a T, 1 return. If I was to use the aeromotive FPR, I would plumb 1 input, and have 1 in, 1 return.
  9. damn, that's pretty cheap... no fitment issues, no leaks, nothin? I see it doesn't have fittings included for that cheap, and searching yields $145 unit with linking fuel line between 2 rails, and end fittings for quick disconnects. hmm... right now, I have 2 fuel filters I can use with -8an fittings, 80 micron and 10 micron. 80 is between fuel cell and pump, the 10 will be after the pump. I have preformed 8an alum line to go to hte engine compartment with 8an crimp fittings on it for feed (rotary setup) that can still be used. I could reuse all this by getting an fittings for the fuel rails and using my existing aeromotive FPR. Tempting, and perhaps this is something I'll save for the future. Right now I'll likely opt for the stock configuration, but I should have enough fittings/line to do the fuel rail conversion. Good info and thanks for teh link, braap
  10. random and offtopic - i see wayne t. edwards posted... i know that guy! had a red si, then a honda fit, now an s14. i've met him a few times, does amateur stand up comedy as well. i know him through clubsi
  11. i see. i'm using pretty much stock components. the corvette filter deal will cost under $90 for everything. To go with rails will cost about $300-350, and I probably won't need to modify this for quite a while
  12. OK, after doing some research, I found that the most common conversion is to get a corvette c5 fuel filter with built in pressure regulator, run a returnless line from the filter to fuel rail, using stock setup. there's a return line that goes from fuel filter to the tank, so all the pressure regulation is taken care of before it enters the rails. 13. reminds me of this Monteverdi: 426 hemi behind your shoulder.
  14. ok, in reality, like all GM products - when GM gets something RIGHT, they axe it. The only exception is the corvette. Fiero was actually a good car by early 90s. They were lightweight, mid engine, decent suspension, decent power. There was the crappy fiero where the v6 caught fire: and then there was the 2nd gen counterpart: Which obviously looks way better. Then there was the '89 fiero prototype (firebird anyone?) Now that's a half decent looking car!
  15. Ok, I've done some searching and reading, and still trying to make a decision - and I'd like to hear from you guys what your thoughts are. In my previous post, I asked about inquiries of summit fuel cell vs. camaro tank, and I decided to stick with the fuel cell since it's already in place, already have plumbing set up and fuel pump. I can add a surge tank later. Now, the next part is about fuel rails and feed to the motor. Here are some things I had questions about: 1. Should I opt for replacing the stock fuel rails with aftermarket units? Pro: would make everything easier. Con: more money 2. Does anyone have experience with these summit lsx fuel rails? They're $189 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-240050/ 3. Does anyone have any experience with adapter/conversion fittings like these clicky here These are designed to convert stock compression fittings on the stock rails to -6an feed. 4. Is it better to run a parallel or sequential setup for fuel rails? Do I run: a. fuel pump -> fuel line -> pass side fuel rail -> fuel line to driver fuel rail-> return to FPR -> return to tank b. fuel pump -> fuel line -> Y splitter -> 2 lines, 1 to each fuel rail, 2 lines return to FPR -> 1 line return to tank Thanks!
  16. awesome! looks like you'll need a nice camaro gas tank for it! http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=150597 shameless plug

  18. are they interchangable, or does one need to be cut down? from the looks of it, doesn't matter as long as the shaft and T bit match up to the same set.
  19. that's the same unit i ordered. I think it replaced that 8754 one that was listed in another thread. or someone misread a 4 for a U
  20. need more info... complete chassis? glass, trim, interior? no damage? what else is missing? if it's complete and just missing the engine, then yeah, decent deal.
  21. if we luck out, darwin will prevail and they won't reproduce. reminds me of the time a woman and her husband decided to get drunk faster by draining a wine bottle into the man's rectum, since the lining absobs alcohol much faster....and resulted in death from alcohol poisoning.
