  1. from what i have read if you do assemble the engine yourself take the engine to have the the whole engine to a machine shop to have the rotating mass balanced from front pully to flywheel

Im in the proces of puting together a stroker turbo motor , and the way i saved some money on the cost was i went around to most of the engine builders in my area and talked to them about me supplling most of the parts myself.of course some said no but i did find some that would.so the machine shop supplied pistons[forged je] bearings,gaskets[very good price] my cost for a fully asembled engine and balenced[lighten flywheel and ati dampner instaled] was 2300 dollars. so total i have about 5000 dollars into engine before install into my 72

  12. just got mine out the machine shop 2500 dollars.p90f54 88mm ross pistons,9mm rods,ld28 crank all arp bolts,ati damper,fidannza fly wheel,head ported ferria 1mm over size intake and exhaust stage3 cam kit,gasket matched intake and exhaust, all balanced8.5 to 1 will be turbo
  13. check home depot online they have setups just for that problem stand alone unit that run off your home gas line . cost a little more 2000 and up but no worries 5 sec after power outage they start up. got one for my mother this summer ,she lives outside buffalo ny had no power for 7 days last winter,bad ice storm ,and dealing with the gas problem ,filling about every 8 hours for an old lady was not fun plus dealing with fumes depending on were you put it[outside always]

  15. yea my niece is about 17 going on 25 but anyhow i offerd my bro one of my 240s to him for is girl well he thought about it for awhile and decieded that was a little to much for here at the time well a year latter of dad can i borrow the car were talking again butt now he is talking about my 88 735i for her witch is probley best for her but i still realy enjoy the bmw may time to move up to a 98 saw one the other day on the side of the road
