Hey Phil, I totally understand getting pissed off about the ultimatum. I am exactly the same way, that kind of attitude from my wife gets me more angry and frustrated about the relationship then I ever would be about whatever petty thing is being discussed. You seem like you have your head screwed on right though, it sounds like you understand the emotional response she has is rooted in not wanting you to get hurt.

I dont know why I enjoy these posts so much. I guess they give me hope that someday I too may get a whole box of fun delivered to my door.

Ya it definately is not tied to vacuum. The blower motor itself has a huge increase in RPM's, in my car it actually gets really loud. Loud enough to be annoying over the top of the exhaust sound(muffler fell off few days ago so engine is now quite loud).

Hey I have the exact same problem!! Mine is a 1981 turbo 280zx and has been doing the exact same thing ever since I got it. One thing I did check was the resistance in the variable resistor control knob. This seems to be working fine. The resistance varies as it is supposed to and at least when I checked it didnt have any strange behavoir. I think it is probably the fan controller going out but I haven't taken the time to fool around under the dash to figure out what is going on. I have a brand new alternator so I am pretty sure that is not the problem. It acts like a simple bad connection that sometimes is fine and then others it will bounce between faulty and functional.

I think that taking your time when making cuts is more important than any automatic guards or safety features. Moving too quickly can cause costly and sometimes painful mistakes. I have been lucky so far but a close friend of mine got himself with a chopsaw by moving too quickly.

Judging by your sig you should probably wash it

Haven't seen a table saw with the guard installed in a very long time. It can get a little hairy when you are using a table saw to cut a curve without the fence. Hope he heals up nicely and doesn't lose too much functionality in his hand.

I have been reading around on them for the last hour or so and the range of reviews is kind of entertaining. Some people swear that they are so comfortable and its worth the 12 hours of labor it took to mount them. Other people think that they are the worst seats ever made... Oh well, if I cant find some good seats at the JY I guess I will give these ones a try.

I am seriously considering these for my 280zx, the stock seats are completely thrashed and I need some more support. I would like to get these butwould appreciate some feedback by anyone who has some first hand experience. How comfortable? I dont need a lot of padding but I drive at least 2 hours per day in my zx and I cant buy these if they are extremely hard. Will it fit in the zx? What are the dimensions at the widest points?

I think that has been posted here before. I absolutely love it, it is probably the best retro modern concept of any car I have ever seen. It keeps many of the styling cues of the old 240 while still adding a modern touch to everything. I'll take 2!

Hey, me and my wife took a graduation Alaska trip too! We went the long way though through Canada on the Alaska highway. It was an amazing trip, I saw some of the most beautiful scenery I have every seen. You guys will have a great time. Sometimes when you are stopping in a port on one of these cruises you can find places that will take you on sight seeing flights over the glaciers and such. My mother in law did this on her Alaska cruise and the pictures were amazing. The glaciers are beautiful, there are some glaciers that you can kayak up to as well. Beautiful!!!

Veritech's car definately encompasses the spirit and the look of a "rat-rod", I love it.

I am not really sure what gains you are expecting to see here. Forced induction increases performance by forcing more air/fuel into the cylinders for a more energetic explosion. By creating a vacuum in the exhaust the only increase in performance is going to come from the decrease in energy required to expel the exhuast gases from the cylinder. I think that the gain in performance over a well designed header would be minimal if any. Am I missing something here?

Read in the txt file one character at a time and reconstruct the data that is there. Some simple case structures will help you read in the numbers and store them in an array. Doing the operations on them once you have read them in should be easy. This may sound too complicated but it shouldn't actually be too bad.
