  1. I'll hold all your extra turbo stuff until you get back OTM, for, you know, safe keeping so it doesn't end up on the 944. I'll just keep it on the zzzap! so it doesn't take up so much space...
  2. Big_Phil is so f-ing metal! Rawk! I don't know the name of that metallica song, but it's the hardest guitar riff ever recorded. Except for the Beavis and Butthead theme song. And Dire Straits Money for Nothing intro...anyway, it's a good song. What program do you use to edit the video? I feel like recording some jack-assery of my own...
  3. Welcome to Sunny (pronounced: rainy) Florida OTM! My master's program plans just got pushed back a year, but that's ok because it gives me time to build my portfolio. Good luck in school, you did tell me once it was going to be in Pensacola, right? Be sure and stop at the Risque Cafe on your way across the border. Maybe if me and b_sosick ever get operation: drift smackdown moving you'll be game...
  4. So is the concensus that the n/a fuel pump is not sufficient for any boost at all? I was only looking for 6-7 psi for now... Nice video Phil! I was a little sad when I saw you scraping on the 12 o'clock bars (always seemed like cheating to me) until I saw the no-handed wheelie with no scrape! Rock! I'll try and get a burnout vid once I finish this dang megasquirt installation...
  5. Some of the old shelby cars had variable area turbos on them, what did you pull that off of? I think it was the turbo III cars though...
  6. I used to know a guy that was doing a 200sx turbo spit (don't remember the engine code, but it was one of the rwd S12 turbos). I never did get to see it finished though. That looks like a fun project, for sure! Are all those weld seams from rust repair, or is that some kind of strengthening procedure?
  7. I guess his copperaters are a lil rich, that's pobably what causes the car to spoke until it gets going... Did anybody notice this is a 1970 240sx?
  8. Is he planing the turbo, or planing the manifold? I don't know as you have enough material on a normal turbo to plane it and avoid cracking?
  9. Those before pictures look to be from some type of event, maybe the crash pictures are also from that event? Hard to tell...
  10. I like it with the wider tires better, especially with that dude peeking out from the front...
  11. Look at what else he's selling too! And scope the prices out!
  12. Why can't cars like this get sold in Florida? I'd punch a nun for one of these! (well, not really, but I'd at least I'd stand on one of those things from Tim240z's game show...) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lancia-Turbo-1989-Lancia-Delta-Integrale-HF_W0QQitemZ190020859270QQihZ009QQcategoryZ6292QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. ... What could they possibly be winning to make it worth all that? Probably a full set of the Choro Q mini cars Corzette is selling...
  14. It looked like you had a recessed tail light panel in the pics...maybe it wasn't that dramatic. Also, it looks to me like whoever did the fiberglass added a small lip spoiler that you would probably have to remove in order to do the whale tail.
  15. What a great looking event! Loving that 2002 turbo! AND an M1?! Naplesz, we were kicking around 2kgt body kits on a thread I started awhile back that had a 2kgt with a supra swap in it. Apparently it hasn't been tried yet, at least not around this half of the internet... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=111541&highlight=2000gt By the way, does anybody know if those were the Shelby racing 2000gt's? They look like it a little bit.
  16. I was thinking that as well. At first I thought you meant like a testarossa or a 308 or something, and I was all "that would look just like a slant nose 911?" I think the ferrari bodykit looks good, but I don't care for those funky little vent things behind the rear wheels. How about a ferrari front, with imsa rear flares?
  17. That's kind of what I was thinking, but I don't know much about those cars so I wasn't sure.
  18. 240ZR, Which old porsche, and which ferarri? OTM, are you talking about z's in general, or about the one I put up? I have to agree that thin flares cheapen z's in general. The ones I like are the ones that extend the whole quarter panel out like on the blue 450z or the red Monza Mystery car. I think the Monza Mystery bodykit is exactly what I want for my car, but I doubt I'll be in a position to afford anything like that until I'm a famous video game designer...So you like the new sig? It's pretty much just a photoshop version of the hand drawn one I had before.
  19. Might as well just do the triple dual throttle bodies on a converted carb manifold at that point, right?
  20. Wow, that is unreal. Not to take away from the gravity of that accident, but I couldn't help but notice a mysterious device in one of the pics. What the heck are these things that look like wastegate actuators?
  21. Alright, got a request! Datsun350z asked me to incorporate a whale tail onto his widebody 240z convertible, and I thought it might make for a fun project. He's got a fiberglass g-nose, three spoke wheels, and wants a whale tail. Man after my own heart. Anyway, here is the picture, if you click on it, it should get bigger.
  22. How about a combination of spacing the turbo and using a smaller motormount spacer? 1/4" seems to be working fine for KCelectronics, would that allow you to put another spacer on your manifold and solve the problem in a less drastic way?
  23. Ah memories...this predates both Big-Phil's fascia conversion and the Camo ZZZap! paint scheme...I'll have to take some newer ones minus the overspray...
