  1. How'd that work out for you? By the way, I think you should put my screen name really big on your windshield, just because that seems like a good idea. You could get like a big camo vinyl made up that said "Veritech-z" on it really big in that stencil font like military lettering. You'd be the coolest guy in Pensacola, that's for sure.
  2. Looks like "a little" instruction was just enough to get him in trouble. I like when he gets up on two wheels, that was dope.
  3. I like the actual picture of the g-nose car on the oni's the best, I want a car that looks like that so bad. Man, is this turning into a talent competition, or what? I didn't know it was getting all serious...guess I'll have to crank it up a notch, I've been drawing all mine cold, with no visual aids to go off of
  4. I'll have to check the can part numbers later, but it was hot rod white engine paint as a base, then some graphite wheel paint for the dark spots, and the same blue I used for the stripes for the blue. Also I used some silver touch up paint, and I'm wishing I hadn't. For the record, the ZZZap! is not currently equipped with this valve cover...Ever since RacerX posted that novelty exotic paint website, i've been dreaming of glow in the dark and mood ring paint jobs... Ibanez, huh? I've got a Fender Mustang and an Epiphone SG clone (in an evil black color, the only way to have an SG). I always wanted a Parker Fly, but they are just so metal looking I couldn't ever convince myself to buy one. They sound awesome though.
  5. I rove you, Skyrine! I think the Buck Rogers 260z is cool, but I like the interior shots of the ZX turbo, with the guy putting in the cassette. That's both Classy, AND classic!
  6. I don't know, I remember reading how Grumpy took care of a bug problem once...
  7. Mull: those mirrors came from a 1979 Mazda RX-7. They're power, but they aren't hooked up. As for why they aren't aligned, well, they're from a 1979 Mazda RX-7, and they don't really fit quite correctly...But like the rest of this car, they look good from far, and in photographs... Z-tard: Where the heck have you been hiding out? Deep in the mountains of Afganistan with your new-ish evil avatar?
  8. Man, that Coze cruiser is something else...Looking tough!
  9. I didn't see the video of this escort, but while browsing I did come to a conclusion: I have GOT to get one of these... http://videos.streetfire.net/video/d85e3371-5439-4779-ad1c-982a00594863.htm
  10. Stole these from some euro car forum (,http://eumsc.eusu.ed.ac.uk/mambo/components/minibb/index.php?action=vthread&forum=1&topic=150&page=1) I guess it's some kind of cosworth escort:
  11. Where's all the people in that picture, that's what I'd like to know.
  12. Time for a smokey burnout! Woo Hoo! Congratulations Mike!
  13. Multi-port sequential, whatever you want to call it. I don't know what GM called it when they used it on the fiero, if it was the same as when they used it on chevy's or not. Point being it's not TBI.
  14. The Pac-Man ghost would be SERIOUS on a 280zx...b_sosick, you need these on the Magnum Z.I. !
  15. I paid $200 for my whole car, and the hood didn't have any damage like that, just some rusty pinholes on the leading edge...That looks like the hood of my old 280 that got run into by a horse in it's previous life.
  16. Do I want to ask how you stumbled across that one, Cozy? Very macabre, but I guess I am that bored because I'm playing with it...
  17. Yes, the cold start injector is that one that mounts right behind the throttle body. It's not the same as the rest of your injectors I don't believe. It's supposed to give you cold start fuel enrichment, but it's a time honored technique to gimmick it up for boost enrichement too.
  18. The dash looks to be in good shape too. I thought at first it was Prox's car in the initial photoshop picture.
  19. If it sat for any significant length of time, you ought to do a general tune up on it anyway probably. You might try checking the valve adjustment, valve cover gaskets are cheap. Also, did you check for broken/loose/missing exhaust manifold studs? Sometimes exhaust leaks can sound pretty dramatic. Listening to your sound clips it did sound more like a valve to me, but it's hard to tell.
  20. You hunted them to extinction Terry! I'm still accepting scripts for Choro-Q part 3...
  21. I don't know if that was a joke or not, but there IS a set of rims that is encrusted with Cubic Zirconia that costs upwards of .5 million, and it comes with a pre-paid bodygaurd to stand next to your car for a year. I read an article about it once in a low-rider magazine (it was the last magazine I hadn't read on the rack when I worked at Advance Auto Parts...I usually only read those for the girls anyway)
  22. He's describing them as TPI, he said you would weld the fuel injection injector bosses to your carb manifold.
  23. That sounds like a cool project. I think drilling the manifold would be the best way. Drill bits are out there to cut those holes specifically for fuel injectors.
  24. That's what was given in OTM's equation, I was just trying to understand what it was. That was my best guess at trying to interperet what he gave us in post 27: BTU·ft/hr·ft2·° F: 65
