  1. I have a feeling there's more to it than that.
  2. Pr0x... the pipe is actually calculated from valve seat to runner inlet. take a string, and put it under an opened valve. mark it, fasten it by either closing the valve or taping it down, and then measure the proper length and see where you'd like it to go based on engine height in the engine bay. 20 inches from the valve seat is something like 14 inches, including throttle bodies, so in reality, the stack will be somewhere around 5- 8 inches.
  3. This reminds me of the Acura TL cam angle sensors. Apparently they're attached to the head with epoxy... and if your headgasket goes as a result of engine overheating, you melt the epoxy and you can't get them back on in the same place easily... better off getting another engine.
  4. That's great to hear that you've got some info, scotty. Sad thing about the RB25 though =( As long as you had fun with it =) I also hear that you're looking for an RB30. Seems like a handful of people are after this RB30 that's sitting at the back of my friend's shop. I'll be getting pictures and sending them to everyone. First one to take a bit gets it. I'll be postponing the guide until the Christmas break. That's when I'll be at my parents house for a nice lengthy period of time, so I can really sit down and get'r rollin. Possibly host soemthign on the website while I'm at it too =) Thanks for you support, everyone!
  5. CMS allows you to do it from any computer as well. That's why it's a content management system. you get to manage it with a login and password. Anyways... great site, i'm reading quite a bit on there... and if you need help with anything you know where to reach me =)
  6. HEY! Question about the tumblers (and all their pretty colours).... IS IT POSSIBLE..... to have someone bellow the end of the tumbler? Like, give it a niceeeeeee radius by heating and stretching the aluminum around a type of roller-vice type tool? hmmmmmmmmmm.. obviously the ano will scratch off, but i'd re-anodize them anyways.
  7. if you have one of those jigs for making hole cuts in round tubing, you can probably use it to square up your drill, and drop it down straight onto the work piece... you have a drill press, so it's not needed.
  8. any 7" bulb should fit with minor adjustments. The one I posted was better than the first one discussed... but it still might not be adequate, and a proper setup is ideal if you value your night vision or your car/safety.
  9. I really don't wanna find out who this is going to happen to next. Is there a way of disabling the steering lock completely? is it just a pin or something?
  10. true, but we have a couple of options. some options are just better than others. the best option for mounts would be to test and fab your own if you're upto it. for those who choose not to do so, that's why the RB swaps end up going 15k + range.
  11. probably under a different name. usually it looks like a square that's divided in two triangles with +/- inside.
  12. is300 has a focused beam projector housing underneath the flood lights in the main casing.
  13. Well this may be a good indication of the necessity for a copy of a program like Adobe Acrobat Professional, and how you can learn to use it to make PDF's of pages rather than print them (or just print them) if you find them useful.
  14. try with this instead http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/67-81-CHEVY-CAMARO-DIAMOND-CUT-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-H4_W0QQitemZ290186456048QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item290186456048
  15. Trying to stay away from sites with parts! GAHHHHHHHHHHH! PM me about your trip up here!!! I'll request the week off from work, and we can go Z'in! greenmonster... what are you doing with the RB, and how is the SR coming along?
  16. yeah I was rollin' down the street looking at some cars with hids, and there are a lot of viable options if you pay attention to stock cars with removable circular inserts for the headlights!! FX35 was actually one of the ones I saw! Add a HID Kit to it, some fab work and materials... like i said... from 300 - 350... done! and DIY! does it get better?!
  17. hmmmm. im wondering if he did something like cross drilled the lobes to remove weight or something =/ not sure if that would help at all, or be strong enough with the stiffer valve springs he probably has, but who knows.
  18. feel da riddim! feel di vibe! feel jameeaka! it's baab-sled tyme!
  19. Yah, im willing to bet the ass-hat who harassed Ernie has posted a "say it aint so!" *cry cry cry* post in here too. If anyone knows where Ernie is, I'd be so inclined to pay for his services when it's time to paint the zee (1 years time or more) but the offer is there. Rather have someone who knows how to prep these cars take care of it than someone who does not.
