  1. definately a modified 200zr pan. you can tell by the undulations in the round part of the sump. an RB30 sump actually looks similar on the front and back of the sump as the part that was added to the 200zr sump pictured above. (i.e- rb30 sump is flat and angled on both front and back). I hear it's the same as the RB25 one. RB26 sump is aluminum and has axle flanges and is a heck of a lot more supportive from a rigidity standpoint.
  2. correction. Speed IS A DRUG ADDICTION
  3. I think it's the kind of racing where cars hit each other... sometimes in the rocker panel area... doesn't sound like a waste of time to me
  4. oh, and you can buy them from here. http://www.nismoparts.com/catalog/?section=822 they are the same part number as number 2 that i listed.
  5. weird. I couldn't find them in the parts master list. perhaps I don't have my FAST set up the way I had it before. it keeps giving me errors.
  6. rated by the marketing team and rated by people who do independent tests are two different things. there are a number of sites illustrating how many paper filters are better made and better filtering than both synthetic competitors.
  7. and as far as I've checked, no cross reference to US part numbers.
  8. 14064-5L301 is a washer that is about 8 - 10 mm thick. 01151-00471 is the M10 x 1.25 thread pitch stud. 12 per vehicle for each item. expect to pay 2+ dollars for each. Check your dealer first... still cheaper than ARP. Don't quote me on which is which. it's not listed in the FAST Diagram.
  9. This very site makes me want to keep my car. as well as makes me want to get rid of it. so I just ignore both and pretend it's not mine. probably why it's surrounded by an unfinished work table and 3 hutches that ive had trouble giving away for FREE.
  10. +2 from some fellow Ontarians!
  11. I thought it was funny because john and i had the same sentiments regarding the search function because I searched google, and then hit "images" and saw a lot of what looked like a familiar electrical tube which we've called "corr tube" in the passed (Corrugated Tube). It's not a big issue.
  12. Even if he didn't have a daughter, he could probably CAD Draw, CFD Test, Mill, and "Flow" Bench one for you, lickety split!
  13. mikelly's spoiler = thumbs up first post spoiler = thumbs down.
  14. Guys lets think about this for a second. sure it SOUNDS overpriced. but there is nothing that will simplify making headers more than this would. Why? because each section is a precut size, each section lets you measure or count the number of blocks to easily figure out how much tubing you need. each second has alignment tabs, and specific angles that will ensure that if you cut the metal to that size, it will look exactly the same. FOR THE PROFESSIONAL, I think spending 2000 on a kit like this would be a worthwhile investment (2000 includes booster packs). for the average one to 5 time use for a home builder, forget it. Some people can do this by eye, but ask them how many tubes they've had to cut to get it perfect, or ask them how much material waste they have. some will lie. and some will tell you "quite a bit, and that's where my cost comes in" ALSO: how many times do you want to have to cut a new set of smurf tubing. Sure it costs only a fraction of what this does. but lets say you do A LOT of these. what sounds more cost effective? easier to work with? time saving? I think I'll go with the ice bloks if i were to do this as a profession, with TIG kit and all.
  15. man… i feel like buying one, just cuz
  16. im pretty mother f'n speechless right now, aside from this somewhat vulgar post.
  17. I don't think my collection of 5 wheres waldo books are gonna help me here. Even though I finished the advanced level check lists for each page.
  18. im going to guess that the canon was used for 2 of the first 3
