  1. Joshua, The engine that came out of the truck is a 69 truck block, 4 bolt mains, '10 block. I used the stock crank and rods, but new bearing, pistons, rings, cam lifters, etc etc. It has a pair of vortec heads with the upgraded valve springs (allowing for .525 lift, I believe IIRC) and has a L98 Corvette grind. RPM performer intake and 750dp. HEI dizzy. Oil pump, water pump etc etc was all new at rebuild. PM me if you are interested. Tim
  2. Well....if Helms would write a decent FSM, I could have done this last week. I must admit, the 'Carline' FSM that I have for the 94 Z28 (used for the LT1/T56 swap in the Z) was wayyyy better done!!! Anyways, I fired the engine in the 71 truck today....I love that feeling!! I put in an L31/4L60E from a 99 Suburban (5.7L Vortec). Still gotta find some radiator hoses to let it run, but everything seems OK. I should be able to get some great fuel mileage now with the 4 speed auto! BTW, I have a complete 350/350 sitting in the garage now if anyone needs a good powerfull (about 360hp) drivetrain for their Z. I built it about 5 years ago and have only put about 8k miles on it. Excellent shape. Now to clean up the wiring and paint the truck! Then work on the Opel, then start building the 350TT for the Z, then find something else to do....

  4. Here is the email you used: anh3pa*at*hotmail.com I reset your password, I PM'ed it to you. Tim
  5. Look in the yellow pages for "freight forwarding", or "Freight Consolidator". Basically it is a broker than can get your stuff in a container with a bunch of other people's/companies' stuff to fill the container. Tim
  6. With the intracacy and detail in the transfer it would not be feasible.... Sorry man.
  7. Strap it to a pallet and take it to a freight forwarder, or consolidator to be put into a sea container that is getting filled up. That is the cheapest way. The weight really isn't all that important, the volume is......
  8. I remember reading somewhere that the Jag ones can be used (?)....
  9. Please, give that car the respect it deserves, Yung'in!! Spelling = Maranello
  10. You are making the battery cable much longer than it used to be which will lead to more resistance. I would go with #2 battery cable. It is cheap enough, so why take a chance.....
  11. clutch pedal and ,master and slave and tubing....that should be about it.... Plus flywheel and clutch obviously
  12. Bill, I don't doubt that steering feels lighter....the weight of the long L6 has been taken off the nose. As for the tranny......sure it is better to do it the way you want it the first time, but like you said....at least you are driving it!!! Go with the TH200 4R. The driveshaft will not have to be changed. all you will have to do is adapt your tranny X-member as the 200s mount is farther back by a couple of inches or so..... Glad you are having fun with it!!
  13. If you run an 8" wheel with less than 5" of BS, you will likely need to roll your fenders, and depending on the BS you want, you may need to flare it. Tim
  14. Also guys, please let me know if I need to ship, or if you will pickup from MSA.
  15. OK guys...last chance. I am doing another run before the MSA show so that those who want to get them at the show can do so. IF you want something, let me know ASAP so they can be ready in time for the show!! I'll need to know before this Sunday (April 10th). If you are not going to the show, I will ship them, but the time limit above still applies. Last chance!!!! This is it! If you need something, paypal me asap to the following account: thepburn*at*semprautilities.com Price is slightly higher than the original run (lost my shirt on that one, not doing it again): So here is the pricing: Shirts:$25 each for S to XL. Add $1 for each size up from there...so 3XL would be $27 Caps:$25 (either color) Vinyl Transfer: $20 Shipping will be a flat $5 for priority USPS. Some places will be a bit less, and some a bit more, so hopefully it will equal out..... Combining a shirt and hat should still stay under the $5, so combine away.... Paypal will make my life SOOOOOO much easier, so please use that if at all possible. Otherwise e-mail me for snail mail address for cheques. Please, when sending paypal, or other correspondance, please include your HZ handle/logon name, and please add the Paypal 2%(?) commission...
