  2. Mike, It would now be Bartman's decision. He is now the proud owner of the headers, and the engine that they are connected to..... He is in SoCal, so maybe he would be interested.....those headers worked really nicely, esp. for knocking out resonance...
  3. The headliner is glued to foam which is glued to the roof. You can get the headliner out in one piece, but not the foam. Getting it back in is very difficult without kinks and folds. Do whatever you can to protect it in the car before resorting to pulling it. Tim
  4. I think that if the mechanic is competent and honest (2 tough attributes to find), then the conversion can be done in about 12 hours if you supply all the parts necessary at the start. The only thing you may need to farm out is the exhaust Tim
  5. Anyone who thinks that the government has the best interests of the general public in mind is sorely naiive!!
  6. WOW....quite the car family!! Nice rides there for sure!!!
  7. Take the fule line off at the tank, and before the pump and blow compressed air through it. Sounds like a blockage? Also....silly ?, but do you have fuel in the tank?
  8. True, however, it does give you the option to email your file to a tuner, and then get it back and download it to the PCM.....
  9. Great for holding the front brakes to warm up the rears
  10. Blwnova, It would help if we knew where you were. Update your profile so that it reflects the area of the country you are in.....at least a State.
  11. I either didn't pump the pedal enough before engaging the solenoid, or it bled pressure. I have no mechanical E-brake....well that is if you don't count the chock
  12. Well.....let's just say that I do not rely on my LineLock as a parking brake anymore.....'nuff said!
  13. Hey Mobe.... Although I never post comments to your updates, I read them with great interest!! Keep 'em coming, please! Tim
  14. Looks great!! Why did you draw 2 boobies on the crossmember though? Nice neat welds, BTW!
  15. John, Are you concerned about the aluminum cracking, esp. at the welds. It appears to be solidly mounted to its frame....are there any isolators or anything, also anything to stop the aluminum from 'chaffing' on the frame and rubbing a hole in the cell? Looks awesome though!!!!
  16. Well, keep in mind that it is the seller's responsibility to provide you with a smog certificate for the sale. They are valid for 90 days, so if he has done it recently, then it will work......then you won't have to worry about it for 2 more years.
  17. Just because he has had it smogged, doesn't mean it is legit, which it cannot be. He may have a 'buddy' who will pass it for him. I think you are buying a headache. Tim
  18. I know...I've seen those, but I wanted to cheap out. I'm sure all those have is a resistor of the correct value in them.....
  19. There was pretty long thread on this topic not too long ago....maybe ressurect that one?
