  1. $3k+ as of now!!! What an expensive hooker she is....
  2. How about a slip joint? Maybe a 2" piece on the downpipe and a 2" piece off the WG, with one side sliding inside the other. It may leak a bit when cold, but I doubt that would too big a problem, since I doubt you will boost it much when cold.... Maybe some of the smarter guys can chime in....seems logical though, no?
  3. When I was at the dismantler the other day picking up my suburban drivetrain, there were piles and piles of those.....I actually stored it in my mind's files for later retreval as they would work for that very application. Tim

  5. It is going to depend on many many variables. Where you live, are you going to be a rider on your parents' policy, etc, etc.... Make some phone calls. Ask your folks to call their agent. you will get a better idea that way and won't have any surprises.
  6. Mike, Maybe if you ask Bartman (who is now the proud owner of those headers), he can send them to an exhaust fabricator to have them copied. I'm sure that with the right bending equipment, they could be done much nicer and more compactly than I did them......
  7. I think you would need an oil heater also. According to Corky Bell, running the engine for an extended time after 'shutdown' is unnecessary if you use a decent oil (synthetic). You would also need another oil tank (albeit a small one). I think the effort to pull the pan is significantly less. Tim
  8. You should have the braided hose with the LT1 quick connect fittings. Use those and clamps. Tim
  9. That should be adequate as you have described above. I used -8 Army Navy lines for feed and -6 for return. The stock lines are about that same size. Tim
