  8. Not too shabby. Shoulda SC'd it though!
  9. As far as I know (which isn't too much), the cap is like a safety valve for the cooling system. The OEM manufacturer designs the system to run at a certain pressure, then the cap is 'sized' appropriately. IF you use a cap that is lower rated, then it will puke, if higher, then it may blow out another portion of the cooling system.....well that's my story anyways.....
  10. What about the Scottie conversion? C4 vette......best compromise as far as I can tell....

    donation

Since your title has been changed to "donating member", I would assume that he got it, but maybe hasn't made it to the bank yet. I am assuming that this is your first donation (if not, then the above argument doesn't work). Try emailing Dan to confirm..... danp@hybridz.sdcoxmail.com Thanks for the donation!!! Tim
  14. Well...no LS1 here, but with the 94 LT1 and T56 and 3.54:1 gears, I think it's great. The T56 has a really low 1st anyways, and I have to be careful not to spin, and in 6th at ~1500 rpm I'm exceeding the speed limit on the freeway. Something to chew on until someone that knows what they're talking about chimes in....... Tim
  15. Attention whore! 'Mad props', Dan!!
  16. I think it was a week or so ago that I remember you saying that you were happy with the car and were done with any more adjustments/mods? I think you have the disease...but good!!

  19. Fuel system Cooling system Exhausts and headers intake PCM programming (either buying the software and cable and doing it yourself, or paying someone to do it for you) Brake upgrade the list goes on and on and on....if you find some sterling deals, then you may be able to do, but it will be tough!
  20. You can do it cheaper with a carbed engine and auto tranny....
  21. You are looking at $7-$10k minimum. There are lots of small things that you will need that adds up....
  22. 94 Z28 - Daily Driver (for now) = Driveway 73 Z (mongoose) = Garage 40 Chevy = Neighbor's Driveway (until house addition is complete) 2 x 72 Opel GTs = Neighbors bodyshop back lot 71 Chevy Truck = Street (have to move it every Tuesday (Street cleaning) 96 Volvo 850 = Wife's daily driver = Don't care, as long as it is not the driveway Plan: Get the 2 Opels running.
