  1. Well I ended up buying this BMW e46 HID complete set up > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8040546941&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 All I have to do now is, the same thing I need to do with the rest of all the parts I've bought over this past year.... put the damn stuff ON THE CAR... lol You wouldn't belive the pile of stuff I have stacked up, waiting on me....
  2. Yep.... this whole exercise is just a fix for the guys who bought the custom alum diff bar, and want to use it with other than the Q45 diff. Its really of no use other wise....
  3. What you probably heard was that they are the same trans (RB25det & Z32DETT) internally... Like 240z says though, completely different, bellhousing and tail piece.
  4. It will fit on any R200 if you purchase the alum rear cover shown in the ebay link.
  5. Shoot this guy a email, he's here in the states and appears to stock quite a RB selection... http://stores.ebay.com/B-E-Customs_RB-20-25-26-Parts_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm
  6. I truely feel for you Jeff. I guess I'm one of the only "lucky" ones that got one of those headers that turned out like it was supose to turn out.... Mine had to go back once for a "adjustment", but after that, it turned out really nice. I had it jethot coated, and ran the piss out of it with no warpage, or leakage what so ever. It was well worth my money spent, due to the fact I felt a huge gain in my power band with it. I hope you end up with one that makes you happy. Its a pisser when you put so much time and money into a part, just to have to toss it.... Good luck buddy!! j.
  7. Here are a couple pics that I ran across on another board of a SSAUTOCROME turbo that self destructed while still new... Click to enlarge
  8. Check this out guys... I bought one of the Alum Diff bars for the Q45 diff awhile back thinking I could maybe use it on my R200 CLSD I have in my car, but the bolt spacing on the Alum Bar is different. I was going to redrill it but found this cool solution. Its a rear finned Alum Diff cover sold on Ebay >>http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33731&item=8035079441 and the thing fits perfect on the long nose R200. The Alum Q45 Diff Bar fits on it perfectly as the bolt spacing is the same also... So now I can keep my R200 CLSD long nose diff, and use the Q45 Alum Diff bar because the Ebay diff cover has the correct bolt spacing... yea.... Click to enlarge
  9. I like the whole look as a package... The closest thing I can compare the front ais dam to is the aftermarket air dam for the Z32's. If I could get my hands on one, I buy it in a second....
  10. R230 ???? I think the verdict was its a R200 in the older Q's, if not all of them....
  11. Here you go BirdmanZ>>> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JUN-Oil-Pump-Drive-Collar-RB26DETT-R32-Skyline-GT-R_W0QQitemZ8038732471QQcategoryZ6778QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  12. There is a guy over on RaceBread forum selling them in a group buy. I could not find the thread but here is the link to the website.... http://www.racebread.com/smf/index.php
  13. I agree with the both of ya..... we need a re-vamp of this section.
  14. James is the one that really needs to explain the coolant passage flow, as I've already forgotton how I'm supose to plumb it.... Here are a couple pics showing how James "plunged" into the water jackets on the intake. The one pic thats blurry is the one showing that. I belive the mod makes it to where more water is passed thru these passages, and not have to go back thru the hot block, but hopefully James will explain the route the coolant takes... More pics here>> http://album.hybridz.org/showgallery.php?cat=566
  15. Just got around to test fitting the CF air dam and the RaceOns CF hood...
