Still can't get on HybridZ from my home PC!!! Someone said I need to "flush DNS" from cashe.... how do I do this using Win98 ?? This is such a bummer, you wouldn't relate unless it was happening to you...

well, I'm back at Micky D's using their computer to check on only HybridZ posts again.... I've tried everything I can think of, plus what has been sugested here to try and solve this. I still can't access HybridZ from only my home PC since the "software" change. Although I'm very computer dumb, I know enough to think this is very weird.... I don't know where to go from here.... please email any help to above email address thanks again joel

John, sorry for the delay in posting here on HybridZ, as I still can't get on the site from my home computer... (long story, in another thread in Site Suport) Sure, I'll be happy to stop by. I didn't realize you can use the L-6 clutch set ups on the RB flywheels.... I have the RB25 driveshaft that I bought from Stony I was planing on using for now. Although it fits the RB in a Z with the use of Brads motor mounts, Stony thinks it won't work with the billet alum mounts we have, because our mounts shift the motor more to the rear, making the d/s to long (in my case) I will try to use it, and if it won't work, I may call up Inland Impire Driveline out in Calif. They are the ones who made me up the nice alum d/s that I sold with my stroker motor a few months back. I paid somewhere close to $300 for the alum d/s. My aunt lives in Mobile, and she just arrived here yesterday for thanksgiving. I will be stoping in Mobile to spend the night thurs or fri night, so email me you address/ph# so I can look you up... gotta get to work... later joel

I'm still trying to solve this problem... funny thing is, I did not make a single change to my computer, or any changes to software/settings, and HybridZ is the ONLY site I still can't access. I've turned off everything I know of that could be filtering access, and I can't even get on HybridZ from another computer in my house that is using the same high speed modem box. I'm not computer savoie, but this seems like my IP address is blocked, or am I way off base here? Please, if anyone can help me out here, I'll pay you a zillion bucks... joel

Every since the day Hybridz went down for the swap, I have not been able to pull up the http://www.hybridz.org site from my home computer (all three of them). I've tried everything my limited computer knowlage knows, and still no go.... I have to come here to Mc D's and use their PC to check this site. I can log on here with no issues from any other PC except my home PC. I cleared all cookies, deleted all old bookmarks, and have tried using every mix of addies with Hybridz in it I can imagine. There is something going on with my computer that is bolcking me from opening up the HybridZ site for some reason. When I type in the site, it trys to load, but the progress bar moves about a 1/3 of the way, then freezes, then kicks me to a white page saying unable to find this site, check your settings etc etc. I sure do miss being able to check my favorite site on the web, as I please... I need this fixed, and now...... HELP ANYONE WITH ANY HELP THEY CAN OFFER as to why I'm experincing this???? thanks, and please respond here also, so I'll see it sooner... joel

I will be bringing you mine to start on next week James. I got a call from Burns Stainless yesterday stating that all the 321 we ordered, along with the twin double slip collectors are on the way to me. If mine comes out half as nice as Taylor's, I'll be bragging and showing off tons of pics to the world... I was going to give you my spare RB26 complete motor for a trade out on the work you'll be doing for me, but since I saw your post about going with a KA24-T, I guess I can still keep it as a spare... Be there next week or so.... so save that vacant spot for my car.... joel

you Bush hatters are right.... we should have hid our heads in the sand after 911, and continued on with status qoue. Everybody knows from all the previous hits we took, that the passive approch would some day win their hearts... I don't think so..... I say we haven't took out enough of them yet....

I will... I had a CM stage 4 in my turbo Z and after around 2,500 mi on it, I took it to Fla. where James Thagard and myself, put her on the dyno for a tune of my TEC2. After a couple pulls, the new Clitch Masters preasure plate explodes, and blows a chunck of my bellhousing out. We pulled the trans to find the small straps that hold the two pieces of the preasure plate together, had snapped off. I call CM to ask about free replacement (because of it being new) and the tech suport guy tells me I had to have caused this, and that I had to have downshifted from 5th gear to 1st to have caused that.... Never again.... I since went with the SPEC stage 3, and its a much better quailty product. Also, CM are way to expensive compared to others. And, I heard that they don't even make their products, that they rebadge other peoples products...

You know, in all honesty, it is worth something.... It has many good parts I'm sure, and in fact, the whole car may be fixable. It's just he didn't do himself any favors by putting up a add with terrible pics, and a dumba$$ discription.... I really shouldn't pick on people like that....

I have a extra Z33 350z Getrag 6spd .... all you have to do is mod it to bolt up...
