  1. There is quite a differnce in the dash. The center cluster below the gauges are way differnt. I put brand new 240 bumpers on my early 260 as seen in the pics below in link. It was easy to mod the existing brakets on the 240 parts to fit on "shocks". Door panels are differnt also, (better I think) You'll like the early 260
  2. Bob, I think the purpose of the hump vrs. the strait, is that the hump will tend to work better for a joint that isn't perfectly strait. If you were to connect two pipes with the hump, then you could slightly move the angle a bit. Also imo, they work better for joints that "move" a little. This is my reason for using them anyways...

  5. I saw this post on zcar yesterday about someone wanting a rebuild shop, here was their recomendation: Call Unitrax (http://www.gearedbyunitrax.com/main.html) to get a price quote I did an oline price qoute for my above 3:70 R200 LSD @ Unitrax. Still waiting....
  6. Ya know, when I put this current 3:70 LSD in my car, I changed out the pinion flange from the z31 to the s30 and did not pay any mind to "correct" torq specs. I just tightned it down tight. Could this be the cause of a growling noise on accel and decel? hmmm

  9. inzane, I would go with what you said, plus at least a pipe, and get rid of that air box, that chokes it down quite abit. I'd like to adapt that new motor to a ultralite somehow... hehe
  10. Mark, I had a 1100cc Waveraider that our local Dealership paid me to race a season on. They sold me the $6,800 watercraft for $5,500 then once I completed the season, Yamaha rebated me $3,000. I can't emagine the power that new Seadoo must have with a S/C on it. The flyer they sent me has some pretty impressive features about it. Anyhow, I'm more into the four wheel variety with a turbo on it now.....

  12. Sorry guys, I don't know how to inlarge it so you can see what it looks like up close. It's a new SeaDoo they just sent me a flyer on. It's pretty awsome looking. I used to have a 155 hp Yamaha Waverunner that I built up the 3 cyl engine on and I thought that was fast... and it was a two stroke. I can't wait to hear the modified hp #s that they will be getting off this thing. I will try and figure out a way to inlarge it and repost it. joel

  15. You'd most likely get some answers if you would include some details on what your engine set up is. I know I haven't the faintest idea if your turbo or n/a....

  19. The part is being sent out to me today before it goes on to JetHot Coat. Abid just wants me to make sure everythings a good fit before he sends the rest of them out for coating. I will have it in the next day or two, and will dry fit it onto a spare long block I have, to make sure the flanges, intake/exhaust, clear each other. I will take better close up pics when I get it to show....
