  1. I bought THIS pair last month, and installed them with better than expected results.... These dudes are super loud !
  2. This is what I do to my s30 horn..... (s130 may be different) Clean / de-grease the contacts, then get some very fine emery cloth and sand the contact points.
  3. Please adjust the settings on your phone / camera to take pictures at 1024 x 768 mega pixels, or, please re size images to: 1024 x 768 pixels or close, before placing on HZ. Images that are 1.5 to 2.8 megs and larger are simply too large and will be removed. If you upload them at http://www.picresize.com/ or http://bluefive.pair.../pixresizer.htm or any of the other free sites, there is an option to resize them right on the website. Thank You! HZ
  4. OP reminded of pic size rule. Image re sized by staff as courtesy.
  5. This is what I would use: http://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-1488-Stainless-V-Band-Assembly/dp/B000E3XK32 http://www.anclamotorsports.com/vibrant/vibrant_exhaust_fabrication_vband_flange_assemblies/1488/i-37762.aspx
  6. It's advice I've heard many times, so I'd be willing to try it if my engine didn't spin. I can't see a down side to giving it a try....
  7. There are quite a few pieces that hold it in place. I may have a few extra parts if it don't cost a fortune to send them to you.
  8. Soon as I finally put mine on a dyno for the first time, I can show you what the twin GT25/40's do. In my opinion, I have very little noticeable lag. My biggest gripe is not having a pair of W/G pipes put on my exh. manifolds while being built, so I could run a external W/G set up.
  9. Garrett GT2876r with the (I think IIRC) 60-1 compressors. http://www.atpturbo....tegory_Code=GRT
  10. Thanks, but truth be told, I should have done a ls1 / lsX implant. I'm pretty sure I'd be ahead right now, atleast the cost of a ls1 purchase...
  11. Member TimO came out from Calif. to spend a couple days at my house to help me tune my Tec3r, and we did a few other fix's on the RBz. It runs 1000% better after He did the tune. It's never ran this good since I built it. I thought there was something wrong with my ECU, but turns out, it's been me the whole time that didn't know how to properly tune a Electromotive Tec3r. TimO brought his badszz Cannon 35mm and snapped some photos. Hope you like them. Should I go back to the red hood and buckets, vs the CF? http://photobucket.com/Pro_Pics
  12. I have a r180 mustache bar with new urethane bushings installed. PM me if interested.
  13. The pipe needs to rest against the ball race. If you get a piece of pipe the shaft bar just barely slides into, it will center itself as you smack the end of the pipe.
  14. Do a search for " finned cover brace" http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/90700-rear-cross-differential-brace-for-clsd-finned-cover-r-200/page__p__859618__hl__%2Bfinned+%2Bcover+%2Bbrace__fromsearch__1?do=findComment&comment=859618
  15. Using that 1st pic as a reference, get yourself a length of pipe longer than the 1/2 shaft and insert the shaft into the pipe and slam the pipe down on the cement.
  16. I like the look and idea. Not sure about how the law will welcome it...
  17. Please search the RB section for info and Google. This info is well documented. Thanks
  18. I would try keeping the spring compressor tightened on the spring to help shorten the strut until you bolt it together... You'll need to use a jack under the control arm to raise it close enough to connect the tension rod to it. It's all a very tight fit...
