  1. I wish a max image size could be implemented through the forum software. When I open a thread that has huge pics (over aprox 1200x 800), it causes my computer to, first, try and open the pics in orig size, then after a 5 to 10 sec wait, they auto down size. This is only a issue for me when they are larger than 1200x800 or so.
  2. There is nothing stopping you from posting on this end, unless of course you are trying to place a for sale / wanted add...
  3. I spy a RB engine in the 2nd pic where they are tuning the Porsche... (by the clock over doorway ) Where is this shop?
  4. I decided I did not like this machine, so I'm returning it and I just bought this one >> LapTop #2 It has better features in my mind (graphics, processor, ram, screen size), correct?
  5. Just put two of the flywheel bolts in the end of the crank (half way threaded in) and use a large pry bar wedged across them to hold the crank from turning while using a impact....
  6. Rust!! That should be your #1 concern, then everything else......
  7. Your car is looking tight I have a full set of those CF flares too, waiting on me to install them. They look sweet, but something about the rear flare don't look right.... Are you sure they aren't mixed up ( L & R ) ?
  8. Nice news for a update! I'm sure the 2jz will be a nice upgrade. Get er done, and take some pics...
  9. Please put your City/ State in your profile. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=members
  10. I ended up buying one of these>> Lap Top They went on sale for $599.00 last week, and it came with a free two year warranty .
  11. The one I'm using is the Garrett core (custom made end tanks) that's 24 x 12 x 4.5". This is just the core size. It's big, and it's heavy, but I can hold my twins @ 18 psi, wide open throttle, for a easy 1/4 mile without the air temp rising 10* above ambient.... To me, this is worth the weight penalty. There are much cheaper IC's to be found though. I went this route cause my fabricator (James Thagard) bought a few of these cores and built IC's for a few of us here on HybridZ.
  12. Thanks for everyone's advice. I think I'll try JSM's recommendation and see if this keeps me from spending unnecessary cash....
  13. Thanks for the response! No gaming use at all, just typical surfing/ video and picture use. I guess it's safe to say I'm just a armature user, but want a semi mean machine to handle storage and surfing speed...
  14. I'm buying a new tower cause mines a several year old entry level model. I found a ebay store that let's you build your own by upgrading from a pull down menu with upgrade choices. This is what I put together for $1053.00 shipped. Am I doing ok for the price? 15. I like you crankcase vent idea on the DP. I bought a pair of those too, hoping to eventually do the same like you did. I just haven't got around to it yet... How'd you end up with a pull type trans (r34)?
  16. I finally got around to installing my tinted headlight covers on the RETRO-SPEC CF buckets.... whata ya think?
  17. She's coming together, and starting to look mighty sweet ....
  18. I have some. Maybe we can do a swap.... PC for SP...?
  19. That's not a bumper. It's just a skirt that looks to fit underneath a bumper. Is that what your looking for....?
  20. ^^ I agree with just 1st trying for a great fitting CF Dash Cap. I have a new dash, so this would help protect it, and add bling...
  21. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it for that short of time. Just don't cut the tires....
  22. I trust you on that. Maybe I'm remembering what I wish it had.... Those were hi school days that were mostly spent in that car at Huntington Beach, Ca. , driving it around playing Black Sabbath on the 8 track, and smoke pouring out the windows.... So, you may see why I got mixed up on my back window
  23. My first car (in 73) was a '59 oval window bug with a 36 hp motor.... I miss her...
