  1. All take one if your offering!
  2. You would need to use the Z32 axles but i think you can get stub axles for the diff that can take the Z32 axle bolt pattern. Talking with T3 would be your best bet.
  3. Ive never heard of a good way to do this without damaging anything. For the steering wheel id try a lightly dampend microfiber cloth dipped in thiner and do one swipe at a time them moveing to a clean section of rag. Best of luck to you that sucks
  4. Is the system bled properly? Sometimes that can make the pump get hot. what does the fluid look like in the res? maybie debris fell in the lines when you put it back together?
  5. The ones in my 78' 280Z are red/blk, dont ask me how i remember that..
  6. Thanks man all be shure to keep yall posted on progress when i get back. Got a new cam sugestion from Mike this should be more "streetable" 262/271@ .050" .421"/412" Lobe Lift 110 LSA How much of a pain is it going to be to try and fit long tube's in? Anyone done it before?
  7. No problem just don't want him getting his hopes up that he is going to be able to get away with only spending the $550
  8. I have a VLSD R230 in the back running 295's. Thats a start but i never said keeping the rear end in line was gonna be easy haha
  9. Yeah for the e-brake set up you use the stock Z32 backing plate, but to mount the hubs and evrything elce you need the T3 "backing plate" so this set up can mount to the stock LCA. you cant just use the T3 backing plate alone.
  10. Those numbers sound pritty close maybie slightly high, depends on the specs of the cam but there are better buys for $2600
  11. If you use the T3 backing plate you will also need to use there strut tube as well, what axles do you plan on useing?
  12. A impact driver would work well, those things are life savers.
  13. Well id be awsome to be the first one to figure out something SBC related that hasent been done before, all be shure to document it well. 840hp would be great but im only really shooting for 700 all take a hit on hp to make it streetable.
  14. Nothing a BFH cant fix ,looks like the exhaust porst are pritty much the same width. I'm pritty shure if the 4 valve Ford motor can fit in there this shouldent be a problem but i still have 3 mounths until i can work on it. I bought Try-y headders for it how much fun do you think those are going to be to try an fit?
  15. How much wider is "much wider"? didnt look too much wider than a standerd SBC
  16. nothin like runnin her through the paces right past the fuz done that a few times haha one time i got pulled over and he gave me a thumbs up and asked me to see under the hood
  17. No, no one is making fun of you but I think its agreed that this question you could have easily answered yourself with Google. That is a Gen I,II block if you have vortec heads for it those will work good just need to buy the Carb intake manifold for it.
  18. Its a SBC block used in dirt oval racing
  19. Johnc, How much do you normally charge to build a cadge for a Z? im trying to justify weather or not i should buy a tubeing bender just wondering what the cost to have one put in would be.
  20. Yes thats what i did, i used what i cut off as a spacer so the nut would still fit fine. Didnt really what to experiment around i used what i had. I'm thinking if i stuck with all TT stuff i wouldent of had to cut the tab off but, TT are scarce in my neck of the woods and there wasent anything on ebey and N/A stuff looked the same.
  21. http://technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=863 (Backing Plates $550) Sorry typo, Ebrake set up is off a N/A Z32
