Guys - I have decided to abandon my '78 Datsun 280Z project - sadly, as I simply do not have the time and as I am so picky with my cars, this particluar car is going to be a money pit (well they all are!) as well. And having 6 cars is ridiculous. Soooo... I could probably eBay it or sell it on Craigslist it for $1000 (tops). -or- donate it to Charity Goodwill for a value that is twice as much and use that to help me significantly for my '09 Taxes.... Bo - Were you able to contact James? I have the exact same turbo as yours, bought from him. I wonder what my fate is? I also know Garrett has the same turbo, but I have not heard of him having issues. Sorry to hear all the woes, when it rains it thunders! Its terribly sad to see how many of you have been subject to this same situation. It sucks and makes you wonder at times, why work so hard to have something nice that you are proud of when members of society will ultimately at somepoint damage it. I am sorry guys but I do not see the humor in this or someone else's misfortune. Someone could have been killed, the driver, a bystander or even another motorist, then would you been talking about how funny or hilarious this video was? What about if it was your car? I *REALLY* feel sorry for the RX7 owner, the damage to the car is well over $10K and the humilation and embarrasment is mortifying. Yasin

Having tried lots of turbos on my own '83 ZXTurbo, I can tell you that there is no much space to run really large turbos due to the conflict with the steering shaft coming out of the steering wheel into the rack and pinion. This was a source of frustration for me and then I had James Thagard from SpeedShopThagard make a custom T3T4 which fits but barely! The only way to know is to mock up the engine in the car and bolt in the turbo. Yasin

I remember seeing Kelvin's 510 in the basement of Mazdaspeed. Glad to see it out, being worked on and running, its way too beautiful to be sitting in a basement! Yasin

Man...am I hot...driving home after a solid 12hour work day, a couple of minutes from home. I see two kids hiding behind a wall that is parallel to the street, as I drive by, I hear what sounded like a gunshot, freaked me out. I drive down the road and pull over and jump out, sure enough, they threw a sizeable rock at my car and dented the front fender pretty good. My blood pressure and body temp peg the gauge and I pull a U-turn and the kids see me. I left my car in the middle of the street with the hazards on, they start running, I jump the wall (an easy 5foot wall) and start chasing them up the street and shouting after them. One kid runs into a cul-de-sac and had no where to go..backed himself into a corner and I catch him (thankfully I have long legs and can still run!) and the neighbor's call the cops right away. The kid is 14 years old and he immediately starts crying and pleading with me and that if his dad finds out he will "kill him". Two cruisers show up within 10minutes and charge the kid I caught with destruction of property. I was impressed with how the cops handled things, they came down on him and took him back to the Shop. Apparently, the police have been receiving lots of complaints from motorists from rocks being thrown at their cars at that same location. If the damage is estimated at over $1000 its considered a more serious felony, according to the cops. Just my luck as...as I recently had my car completed stripped and painted When I was a kid we did dumb things, but "NEVER" damaged other people's property and never got into this kind of crap. What is going on in Society and kids today!! Riddle me that? I am pi$$ed! (and still hot). Yasin

The Electromotive EFI, the manifolds and turbo are worth $8K alone...a smoking deal even if were a 400hp car. WOW! Yasin

Hopefully not 9.0:1 compression, as that will definitely limit your boost and you will have to manage your timing and fuel delicately. I am running a tick under 8.3:1 with the pistons JE made for me. Yasin

Wow your R16 looks really nice and clean, I really like your braided lines to the carbs. My plan is to tidy-up my engine bay this spring summer, as I have a small polishing business there is no reason I can't get it looking squeeky clean. Yasin
