  1. Yes please more details! Great looking car! Yasin
  2. Been thinking about you guys since last Thursday. I heard billions of dollars of damage with Galveston in chaotic ruins... Unbelievable...my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Yasin
  3. Stunning car, beautifully done and congrats! Love the ants in the video!! Got a good chuckle on that. You should be very proud of yourself, what do you estimate the hp from the 355ci? Yasin
  4. Justin - Interesting find...well it is a turbo..here is the proof: I think it looks pretty good here: It says the owner of the car owns a shop called 1/4 mile Cutoms Paint and Performance. So I guess they wanted to showcase their work. The paint job is pretty incredible and I can definitely respect it, but it has too much body kit overall and from the rear 1/4 to the back bumper has too ass. Needless to say, its different and definitely a show piece. Its on bags or hydraulics too. Lots of time went into that bad boy! Yasin
  5. Awesome numbers brother...love that hp number!!!! That car must be ALOT of fun on the street and very unassuming too. Can't wait to get my heap on the dyno!! Yasin
  6. Simply stunning J!!!! Loving it...yumm-a-lish! That is one mean mutha. So you get your CCWs refinished I see! They look great. Yasin
  7. Superduner - Nice work!! VERY nice!! $86 shipped? You are crazy, shipping is what $20 (by the time you bubble wrap, box and drop them off), and at a scrap yard these are usually $7 so you are making less than $60? Wow...that is peanuts....you are a better man that me! I have polished many many L28 valve covers and it usually takes me about 4hours per cover. Here is my last one: Yasin
  8. Yup that's Dot's car, shame to see he is selling it...the price is very very fair considering how much time and money has gone into it....I remember seeing this car completed back in the late '90s. Yasin
  9. Ok, you are going to need this: 1) Can of starter fluid, disconnect the rubber hose going into your throttle body and spray into the intake manifold, make you open the butterfly on the throttle body! If the car starts and runs for a few seconds until all the starter fluid is burnt off that confirms you are NOT getting fuel. 2) If you are not getting fuel, then you have clogged fuel lines from sitting for 10years and you will need an air compressor with a fitting to blow the lines out with 100psi of air. Disconnect the line at the fuel filter in the engine bay to blow the air through it, did you replace the fuel filter? 3) If you are still not getting fuel, drop the tank and get the tank boiled and cleaned, here is a good opporutnity to re-new all the old rubber lines while you are in there. 4) If you have fuel now and the car still does not start then, buy a Bosch noid light ($5 from any parts store), stick it into any injector plug and crank the car, the light should illuminate..if it does not then you may have an issue with your injector dropping resistor located adjacent to the brake master cylinder or EFI relay or possibly the ECU (but that is *RARE* that the ECU will go bad). 5) If still no luck and you have fuel and the noid light is illuminating, check your spark by buying a spark tester and putting inline with any plug wire, should be nice and bright as you crank the engine. 6) Check all your engine and body grounds and clean them up surgically with sandpaper. If you can get a spare AFM to try as yopu trouble shoot as well. That should get you going, the best part all these trouble shooting tools are inexpensive and handy to keep around. Good luck and report back. Yasin

  11. Warren - I have the rare 12 plug L6 motor with the second distributor located on the left strut tower...LOL! Joe and Warren - Many thanks for the compliments!!! My best - Yasin
  12. Video coming sooooon guys, I promise, I have even been rehearsing my Big Phil Texas accent...LOL I need a full day or so on it still to work out a few last minute things and then I will shoot the video I promise! My best - Yasin
  13. Darius been a long time fan since your original Supercharged Z, its a video that I play frequently to keep me inspired (and to impress my car buddies). I have the one that has you in your garage starting up the car, you hear the fuel pumps kick on and then the thunder of the SC V8, then you are revving it, in the back ground are your bikes...its a wicked video on full volume! I cannot wait to hear and see footage of this car. You raised the bar 7years ago with your original car, this one is beyond reach! Congrats on a beautiful and inspiring project. Mind blowing..to the 4th dimension! My best - Yasin
  14. Boy was I relieved that the oil pressure wnet up to 70psi in a hurry!! I was very worried about this. Many thanks! LOL...no doubt!! Tim, I will be running a Haltech soon, but for the initial start-up and break-in I am running all factory OEM EFI just incase I had to trouble shoot it. Now that I know the engine starts and runs, a few months down the road the programmable EFI will go in, which I am looking forward to! Many thanks Mike! I greatly appreciate it. Best regards - Yasin
  15. Hi Gang - Thanks for chiming in on your thoughts and responses and compliments. I just emailed Ron Tyler and gave him the good news... I went back out to the garage and threw in a set of fresh plugs and BOOM it fired up perfectly..LOL! Yes I am giddy like a school girl - understatement, or is that a school boy after his first kiss? So all is good, oil pressure went right to 70psi too The car is very very loud without any exhaust on but it runs and I need to figure out how I am going to run my valve cover PCV vent and also the block vent, that's tomorrow, at least she runs and fires up! More to come! Best Regards - Yasin
  16. I feel for you...I did the same thing...two years ago and I ended up rebuilding the engine as a result! Yasin
  17. Well Gang - Today was a nervous day....I spent most of the day doing little things to complete my 2year build on my L30ET. Went through and checked things many many times to ensure that all wiring and etc were done. So long story short...the car cranks but refuses to start. - I have lots of fuel 40+ psi at the rail - My noid light verifies that the injectors plugs are receiving a signal - I have a hot spark verified with another noid light in line with the plug wires - At TDC the No. 1 cyl. cam lobes are at 2 O'Clock and 10 O'Clock also at 0 degrees timing the distributor rotor is pointing right at the No.1 spark plug wire. So that looks kosha - I made sure that my TPS was calibrated for continuity - I checked the hook-up for my AFM a few times - I checked the grounds all appear OK, although my custom instake manifold does not have the 10mm bosses for the factory grounds, so I had to ground them to the bolts holding down the valve cover - Battery is brand new With my set-up I am not using some of the factory sensors like the cold start injector thingy that sits facing forward on the factory intake manifold. Also what is weird is that I am *only* getting about 12-15psi of oil pressure when I am cranking, which has me VERY nervous, and trust me I have been cranking the bee-jezus out of this thing, so I know that the oil has made its rounds. When I am cranking the car spits and coughs like it wants to start but just does not fire-up..so what do you guys think? I am S_T_U_M_P_E_D! Here is what it looks like...pretty but far from functional! Many thanks in advance - Yasin
  18. My thoughts are with you Joel and Paul!! Hope you guys are fine.... Yasin
  19. Check eBay..I bought a set that was made by OBX designed for a Saturn and cut them to fit...worked purrfectly. Yasin
  20. Thanks brother...appreciate it..car is making some steady progress...finally! I was a girl that soaked ALL my time, when that did not work out got back to work on the car, you of all people know how that works out! Yasin
  21. +1...for the same money I would scoop up something from the Lambo shop. Yasin
