    seats & belts

After wrecking my Z into a ditch, I'm going w/ a 5 point. Granted I didn't have a seat belt on, but saftey is first in my mind now.

    300ZXT CV Issue

Anyone have anymore updates on their progress?
  4. Has anyone buffed this paint job? Curious to how a high speed buff would hold up on this type of paint?
  5. Nice car. Congrats on being home and the baby on the way. You have a beautiful wife. Take as many video's as you can as the years go by. You will love looking back at them. The years will fly by now once the baby comes.
  6. I think the build itself came out very nice. I'd drive it. The wheel spacers where a little over the top. I'm not sure I understand or agree on the hispanic thing, it's a RHD.
  7. T3 = Smaller Turbine T4 = Bigger Turbine The flanges match specific Turbines.
  8. In my opinion, in this order: 1. Frame rails 2. Floors (underneath the drivers and passangers feet) 3. Under the rear hatch above the tail lights (Kinda like a 3-4" space runs above rear lights) 4. Under Battery Tray 5. Under Rear Fender lips 6. Rear Quarters 7. Around Windshield 8. Front Fenders 9. Underneath Doors 10. Anywhere else, just look real good, you will find it.
  9. Congrats! Man, that was a fast 45 days. It amazes me how time flys. I was watching videos last night of my kids at 6 and 3yrs old. Hard to believe that was 7 years ago.
  10. I've been there done that. This is so true.
  11. I just caught that. Really I can read!
  12. Looks great and I love orange. Only thing I would have done different is make the fender flares the same color as the car. Congrats!
  13. So why did you want a 280z? Just curious, cause I'm thinking of doing something very similar. Congrats!
  14. You did good, but your in CA. Clean cars are much more accessible then OH.
  15. Jeff, I like the design as well you attached above. Can you ask if there is a difference in price for a T3 flange vs. a T4? Or if they can make some with both?

    Harness Bar

Pro's on the bar: it sits nice and straight, easy to bolt up and close to the seats. Con's and this is a big one to me, you can't recline the seat much at all. What I was going to do was a similar bar, but mounted higher to where the stock shoulder strap actually bolts in. This would be simple bolt in option also. Then no seat issues.
  17. Can someone post his ebay Id so I can add him to my block list?
  18. One thing I think we need to have is a requirement for an External WG. In my opinion plumbed for 44mm. If not used, by others a block plate should be included. Thoughts...
  19. It's a hard call. To me lately I can't find a decent car anywhere for a good price in FL. I'm not sure on your access to cars to even look at, but to me, we are scarce here. I've looked at 3 Cars this past weekend and all were pretty rust. One was real bad and the guy wanted 2600, but it had triple Webers on it, without them he wanted 1800.00. I was so close to flying out to Arizona for a super clean 73 for $5K and driving back to FL. Just an option to consider.
  20. I need to someone to LEAD this project. I just don't have the time. I was not given a price.

  22. Your car is looking very nice. I like the rear mount gas filler.
