I just take it with me on the way. I've been to Tampa twice, Jacksonville, Lakeland, and local for the wrecked car. My little 4 banger Nissan truck pulls Z's great. With out the towed car, I've done 75-80 no problem and gas difference was very minor.

I would find out how much you could buy the car back for. Likely 20% of the claim. You'd likely get a salvage title, but there is not much damage there at all. I had collecter car insurance when I wrecked my Z. I insured it for 5K. Insurance totaled it and I bought the car back for $250.00. Easiest claim experience ever for an insuracne company.

So whats the latest update? Aside from Linkage, do you need to run the balance tube?

If they are to black (Fowled) it won't start either. Did you clean them or throw a new set in?

My feeling is if it ran fine and is not now, then it is fuel related. Especially if you've checked all your connections, getting spark, etc. Suck some gas into a syringe. Remove the breather hose that connects to the valve cover and to the intake and shoot half of the syringe of gas towards the intake. (Some how physically get gas into the intake.) If it starts, runs for 10 secs or so and dies your not getting fuel. Make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy just in case.

Silly question can the distance between the arrows be made any narrower? If you cut the circle piece you weld on like the drawing I made would that effect to much strength? My thought was to center it in the middle depth wise, it looks to be a good 1/2" thick. The green line would keep it from going all the way through, recessed. This may not work at all, just a thought. But it may gain a 1/8 - 1/4". Maybe it is that way and I just can't quite tell from the pics. From the Left upper pic, it looks like it is recessed. The right lower Pic looks like it is welded on top.

On my aftermarket seats I had to raise just one side closest to each door a 1/2" so the wings wouldn't hit the door. You can't tell at all when your sitting in it.

Considering you just put it back together, I would unplug and replug things back in one at a time and re-fire. Just to insure all your connections are good. Sometimes it can be very simple wire.
