Related only to a ticket, but I was speeding through Disney. Not intentionally mind you, just going home with my wife from dinner in my truck. I had a radar detector, but it was off. Helps having it on! Anyway, I could barely understand the cop, but he comes back with two tickets, one for speeding fair and one for having a radar detector mounted to the windshield. Apparently, it is against the law to have anything but a Toll pass on your windshield. I couldn't believe it but sure enough I looked up the law. Just sucks to think you could get a ticket for having a GPS on your windshield. I wish at times we could pull cops over. I've seen so much crap I just shake my head at.

Yes the NA / Turbo harness are different. I grabbed the FSM for the year I was going to use, 86, printed the wiring harness section, taped them together and had them blown up to a D sized drawing. Made life so much easier. Make sure you grab (cut) the large electrical plug that goes out from the FI harness into the main body harness.

John, just for clarity then do you run a 3 line Surge tank then and have the return from the Surge tank going to the fuel tank and then a sperate line from the fuel rail going to the fuel tank?

Yep, search. More often then not "My Documents" is not where you think it is. Did you have multiple users on the machine? Each user will likely have their own folder. Which version of Windows did you have it on?

I'm not sure what I'm more jealous of the car or the space you have to work on them! Very nice find. I'm not sure what there is about it but I get the biggest kick out of driving the bone stock Z's myself. Maybe because my expectation isn't as high. My sons auto I just love cruzing in it. Man is it ugly but still get compliments. Even the AC works now.

"I think", I have a set in my storage bin. If they are there you can have them for the cost of shipping. Don't recall every trying them. I just won't have time until the weekend to look.

Just for reference the 260z can only recieve the 75 EFI tank. 76,77 & 78 year EFI tanks are bigger. All 70-75 had full size spares. It might be even easier to build a surge tank than go fuel cell.

I've got this same project on the back burner currently. I would just get the Turbo ZX distributor. The only issue that stumped me was the fuel pump hook up, but I think I got it figured out: I posted some diagrams over at Z31 that you might find helpful.
