  1. You're killing me Tony. I was waiting for you to post. I'm very land challenged at the moment. What do the containers sell for? 20' and 45'? Also, they sell these as kits at Costco? "The NSF Stainless Steel rolling racks from Costco"
  2. Agree 100%. The female thing made me laugh. I do the exact same thing and I haven't mastered it either! Florida is wacky as well. I've learned to be nice, complimentative to the women and say things like, “wow, this line went quick†even if it didn’t and try and keep their eyes on you and not the paper work. Be cheery! I’ve become an expert at tracing if you know what I mean. It drives me nuts knowing that the state collected taxes on a vehicle so many times! Ugh!
  3. Tim, I couldn't figure out why you wouldn't just buy one from MSA or blackdragon until I relaized they are NLA. I made sure I grabed one from the JY.
  4. I'm so bad when it comes to storing parts. To me it's a lot. I have them everywhere and I know I'll have something but it is buried, miss placed or somewhere I would have never thought of. So how are you guys storing your spare parts? I'm thinking of building some mobile wood shelves as I have plenty of wood. This way I can move the lot of them around to get a things, clean etc.
  5. I cannot find it. I know I have it, but where is the question. Let me check in my attic tomorrow night.
  6. Oh wow. Fubar is an understatement. Curious to what kind of speed would do that kind of damage? Trees are not very forgiving!
  7. So what kind of pully do you need? I "think" I have an extra I can send. I'll even ship it for free. Assuming this is for an L-series motor.
  8. Oh man that sucks! I go all the time to Orlando, Tampa and Daytona. I'll keep my eye out.
  9. It's a flat piece. From inside the car, you should pull toward you. If I recall, the lock rides over it when you turn the key and presses it down.
  10. I thought about that. Wasn't sure if it would fit. Dealer told me it is a different part # but didn't know specific differences. EDIT: Did find a place local that will repair and pressure test for $65.
  11. Yep that's is it and of course the uncomfortable sitting on the knees time!
  12. Has anyone tried to purchase one of these lately? MSA, Blackdragonauto and all of my local part stores say NLA. Mine has a hole in it. Guess I could get it fixed but I want immediate gratification! EDIT: Dealer also NLA.
  13. No on removing dash. Grab the FSM. You did look to see where they are mounted right? The bolts are direclty on the other side. Just watch for any shims that may fall off.
  14. And this car is pretty clean, other than the fuel door and sun roof. He's wanting it out of the garage so I'm sure you could get him down. http://orlando.craigslist.org/pts/2486997876.html
  15. 2 weeks ago there was a 77 or 78 in the LKQ JY. It's on East Hwy 50. I wouldn't wait long. Bring your battery operated Saw Zaw. It was pretty clean if I recall. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=9205+E+Colonial+Dr,+Orlando,+FL&hl=en&ll=28.570295,-81.260719&spn=0.009196,0.01811&sll=28.624912,-81.22467&sspn=0.279058,0.579529&z=16
  16. Subscribed: Also, is there any bennifit to updating to the 300zx choper wheel and CAS? Just curious.
  17. ... and that's my good eye too!
  18. Ah I understand. I recall seeing them in the JY and thought they looked a different length. Thanks for the info.
  19. Hey Mike! Good to see you around. So is Jim selling everything off or just his extras? I too am guilty of watching your vids like 20 times!
  20. Sorry, I meant you purchased 2 axles, both of these were from the shorter side of the path finder, driver side? What was the length of the passenger side axle from the Path finders? Hope that made sense! Curious what to look for at the JY.
  21. Very nice, wheelman. Courious, what is the length of the other Pathy 4x4 axle (the other side)?
  22. Yep, I use a 4' long pry bar. Make sure you put the lug nuts back on so you don't damage the threads. I then use a standard 1/2" breaker bar like you did and use the 4' bar to break the nut free. I've never had one not come off. Of course, you must remove the penning on the nut first or the threads will be destroyed.
  23. I'd think I would find someone else who knows about L series heads too. If they can't tell that is casted there is something else wrong. I was looking for some microscopic welds in that pic and was like what welds.
