  1. So HowlerMonkey how is your Z31 going? I just picked up an 88 Turbo with TWO popped head gaskets! I think he overheated it but he won't admit it. I'm planning a cross country road trip for my 50th birthday in 3 years. Gave myself a window to get her going.
  2. There is a 75 280z in the Clearwater LKQ JY. Not sure exactly what your after. Not a lot left of her. Search for 260Z. They have it listed wrong. https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/locations/LKQ_Pick_Your_Part_-_Clearwater-190/recents/
  3. You could always go back, try and apologize and see if you can work a deal. Sometimes people have bad days, angry wives, etc. At this point you have nothing to lose. What he may yell at you again... Just a thought.
  4. Yes the hubs are already mounted as pictured. One is missing the screw. Ill make sure it is included. Also notice the stitching on the black one as pictured. I don't have any stock ones.
  5. You want stock or aftermarket? I have a couple of Grants I would sell. I think they are both 13" or 13.5". I would do $70 on either plus shipping.
  6. Would take both if it is a package deal. Must have good bolts.
  7. Thanks. With free shipping this isn't a bad price either: http://www.ebay.com/itm/240Z-260Z-280Z-BATTERY-TOP-FRAME-GENUINE-NISSAN-/332000045276?hash=item4d4cbea8dc:m:m6nCR0SiI2LoZD0mHZx6e9Q&vxp=mtr
  8. Looking for just the top frame only. Have everything else. For the life of me I can't figure out what I did with mine. Black dragon had them for $16.95... sigh no more.
  9. Very nice Keith. So how did the car feel at 173 mph?
  10. Did you clear your cache? Settings- > Safari -> Under Privacy and Security (Clear History and Website Data). I had a problem with my home cameras and it fixed this. Then log back in to hybrid.

A few years ago probably $400-800. Now $2000 - 3000. Even ZX cars asking prices are high.
  12. Man a year went fast! Hope your day is well, thanks for all your wisdom, sarcasm and effort to help!
  13. Good luck. I ended up bringing a bunch of misc locks and ignition switches and had a locksmith pick the best and re-key it. Only cost me $40!
  14. Sounds to me like you likely have rust in the tank and removing / re-installing have moved it. 1. replace fuel filter 2. Put an inline fuel pressure gauge right before the inlet to the fuel rail. If it keeps acting up after you replace the filter, check the gauge right away for low pressure. Good chance you will need to drop the tank again and clean it out.
  15. Geese now you have me second guessing a oil pump and o-ring replacement in my 01 Silverado! I can do it, I just don't feel like it! The mechanic I use I pay cash, bring him the parts and the price is fairly reasonable, but I feel what your saying. They are out to make a living and its churn and burn.
  16. That sucks Tony, sorry to hear. I hope your loss of guns weren't any family heirlloms. I have a couple that would devistate me. I do self monitoring of my home with a product called insteon. I get push notifications on my phone when doors, windows, motion and garage door are open. I then jump on my video system to check anywhere I'm at to make sure it's family.
  17. Is that part #8 for $2.95 on page 35? http://www.blackdragonauto.com/icatalog/zr/full.aspx?Page=35
  18. Donor for my Z. It sold already, but it's all good.

  21. 211K, 6 Speed needs rebuild, $2K. Do I run and get it as fast as I can? Or wait for something with less mileage and no rebuild on Trans? From the ad: 1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 condition: fair cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 211000 paint color: silver title status: clean transmission: manual type: coupe 1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 211k miles 6-Speed V8 Has issues, not cosmetically perfect, but is entirely drive-able. Transmission could use a rebuild, has syncro issues. Gears will sometimes grind even if clutch is fully engaged, this can be avoided by shifting slowly and smoothly. Engine runs surprisingly strong, this car still moves. Front-end needs work, steering is stiff. Needs headliner T-Tops are missing levers to remove. No rust, undercarriage is clean. Check engine light is on, EVAP (i think it was) issues Low Oil light occasionally shows, but oil pressure never drops below normal level, and levels never drop either, so not sure what the issue is there. Diver side window doesn't close entirely unless door is opened slightly while closing. This has been my daily driver for a little over six months now, and while it does have it's issues, it is entirely adequate as a daily driver. I'm selling to buy a motorcycle, and because I don't have the will to spend the money or time to restore it to it's full potential.
  22. Lol, yeah me too. I think part of is it a neighbor bought one and he fits the stereo typical mid life crisis purchaser.
