  1. Looking to see if anyone has some premade same side 2.5" they are not using.
  2. I only checked the RH side. Courtesy had it. You can check the other. http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun/Z-1969-1978/brake/front-brake http://www.courtesyparts.com/oe-nissan/41084a0100
  3. I guess it's great if you own a Z, bad if your looking.
  4. This one sold for 170k: http://www.rmsothebys.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1702023
  5. Unless someone has one really cheap, you may spend more buying a used one and paying for shipping. LA isn't to far from Orange is it? Shipping has gotten really expensive lately.

  7. If it was 2+0 and 5 speed I think it would be worth about $4000. It appears appears to be pretty clean, but even concourse hagerty only has them at 10.5K. I did find this comment interesting: "Intercooled, turbocharged models debuted in the States in 1985, while the turbocharged Shiro Special debuted in 1988." I've never seen a factory stock intercooled Z31 before? Maybe outside the US?
  8. It's probably such a high amperage now that the connection in the switch is dissipating in heat. Try cleaning the contacts. My switch went from not working at all to working perfect. http://www.kamikazeracing.org/dl/ZTech/Rebuild_240Z_combo_switch.pdf
  9. You have to dig in the FSM and see how the 260z tach is wired. If it is the same you can hook it up like I showed you above. You'll need a reference I would think from the ECU for the tach signal.
  10. You can use this link as a reference. Green is switched positive, black is ground and the red goes to - side of coil with a resistor. I happened to have a resistor from a ZX I just pulled. Now your 260z tach may be different, but you could always source a 280z tach. http://www.zcar.com/forum/10-70-83-tech-discussion-forum/110246-280z-tach-wiring-point-me-right-one.html#post767501 I just did this for a tach I sold: https://youtu.be/B3-KYS74FF0
  11. Did you just modify a diesel L6 intake? If so to mass produce these aren't that common are they?
  12. I'm assuming he wants exhaust????
  13. Money sent. Thanks Jared.
  14. That's fine. I'm really using it for testing purposes anyway. What do you want for it? Shipping to 34787?
  15. My 79 has the CTS. The CHTS came out in 80. Your running a P90 head and the CHTS would be back by cyl 6. They probably mounted the stock 77 thermostat housing on the p90 head. Also check the bullet connectors and clean them going to the CTS. I would also unplug the cold start injector and see how it runs.
  16. Yeah it may be why they are so cheap. Yeah that is odd on the extra holes. These are quite a step up in price and use diff caliper / rotors. http://www.silverminemotors.com/datsun/datsun-240z/brake-kit-individual-parts/rear-disk-conversion-brake-bracket-for-240z-260z-280z
  17. This is the cheapest I've seen. https://zcardepot.com/brakes/rear-brakes/rear-disc-brake-conversion-caliper-brackets-240z-260z-280z.html?search=Caliper+bracket
  18. Thanks for looking. You have no idea how many times I thought for sure I had it but then can't find!
  19. Ok let me know. I don't need the elbow, I need what connects to the elbow and maybe just a few feet. I figured maybe someone might have one of the MSA ones' laying around they didn't need.
  20. Anyone have on there no using that fits the stock T3 turbo? I know I can buy a new one pretty cheap, but I just want it for testing purposes so I figured I'd take a shot if someone had a used one. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/15-6037 Cost plus shipping to 34787. Thanks!
  21. Ok, so I was removing the oil adapter on my 280zxt auto block and noticed the oil relief valve is actually installed in the sandwich plate and none in the block. I know there is a valve also in the oil pump, but is there any harm running with just one? So when folks use the sandwich plate on their NA blocks do they remove the one in the block? Just curios on this one. Edit: I'm running this engine on an engine stand and will be installing the oil cooler at a later date. I'm assuming no harm based on these just curious on others thoughts. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/119560-l28et-oil-cooler-blockoff/?hl=cooler http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/62327-280zxt-oil-filter-housing/?p=577101
  22. Looking amazing! Are the hood hinges stock and you just added the lift shocks?
