I need help with this there are 3 hoses that go some where i dont know they are in these pictures here.(sorry for the pics) (the second picture lower tube where my finger is at is coming from the block) My question is the thread title. I just got the car running ran for a good 60secs:mrgreen::mrgreen:. Then it began to stumble (very rough idle). Its super cold outside but I'm going back out there and deal with it. If anyone can send pictures or describe exactly where they go please do. The faster i find out the sooner you will get to see the video of it running.(not the first start because i was just playing around not knowing that it would really start and it did). So please HBZ peoples tell me where they go. I have a chilton's manual but i cant find the page where they show it.If you know the page number let me know. Thanks to anyone that helps.

I just came from the stockton pick n pull there are oddles of Z's they just got in 4-5 280z's about 3-4 300zx's and 1-2 260z..there wasnt that many 240z's but there are a few still there.

You should carry one of those scissor jacks (they ones that come with the car when you buy one) with you and jack one end up and drive away.

2nd round of trying to fire it up today failed. I'm getting spark and gas gets to the what i think is the fpr and stops.I havn't tried removing the hose from the fpr yet and seeing if gas is flow through it. I will check that tomorrow. All the plugs are dry after each attempt so i'm thinking there is something happening after the fpr.

If this does go through make it so that people have to search through videos and make 99.9% sure that the video hasn't been posted already. I like Darius's car and all but when i search for "240z" on youtube or myspace i don't want to go through 100+ videos of the same thing.

I got cought up in the moment and didnt think about getting video. I was just hoping it started. Today im going to get the good camera and put it on a tripod and try again.

Picture update. I changes the plugs, changed the oil, changed the oil filter, removed the ac unit from the engine bay, and bought gas. I still have to take out the hoses and everything from the ac. I'm going to wait till tomorrow to do it.

I relocated it to where the hood latch is. I have a rigged mockup version of what i want and it works perfectly. Will post picks tomorrow. And i got the center installed and still working on the carpet and driver seat.

For some strange reason i thought clive was a older guy. He looks like he is my age not sure if its exact but i don't think he can be over 25ish. Video also stops at 45 on the schools computer? But all other videos play full. Any one esle stop at 45secs.

Thanks for that Steve. G. It seems easy and can be done fast. I just have to go out and find the metal for it. I broke the center last night trying to "make" it work right where the lever sticks through the slot on the side of it. I have to fix and repaint it again.

Did you make a mount or modify the existing one or just drill holes and mount?

I just installed my center console back into my Z and now the choke lever will not fit properly. I'm not sure if my center console is tweaked, but its not working. If anyone has relocated theres please post pictures and how you did it. Or if you have a good condition center console for a 72' 240z i would buy it from you if your close by where i can pick it up near or around Stockton to Fremont in between those would be best. ( should they 72 choke lever mount in the middle? mines mounts off to the side and the dip where the ashtray sits in stops it from moving over and mounting the right way.)

Update: I just keep working not thinking to take pictures. Well now i took that fender off the passenger side, and replace it i also replace the passenger side door and headlight housing, I changed out the weather stripping, i got my fuel pump working 5 minutes ago, and i welded my center console back together. Will post pictures after school tomorrow.

Its like a burnt metalic orange. Did a google search and came up with "atomic orange" as the vette color that looks similar.
