Went and picked it up today and i switched the old one out with this one and the key stays in until turned in the locked position. Now i have to get all my locks re keyed for the ignition key.

He cut a coil off the springs and the spring shot up but it did not sit in the perch correctly it happens when you don't have a spring compressor to slowly uncompress the spring back into the perch. As for removing the hole strut assembly to put the spring coil into the perch correctly i would buy some coil type spring compressors. If that is the situation you are in take what you need from it. I'm not 100% sure if thats what your asking but its what i THINK your asking.

Anyone order a set of these from autozone. I was thinking about getting this because the key way in my ignition isn't in the best of shape. The key falls out and you can start the car with just about anything. Heh, my dad just bought a svx 2 days ago.

Pictures to come once i find my cable or sd reader (i lose them once a day i swear). I just ordered the msa 3-2 header with the 2.5" adapter. Tomorrow morning im going to have it registered, i have insurance. So when the header comes in all i have to do is take it to the muffler shop. Driving with a open header will be "fun".

Im starting my exhaust and i need help deciding. I want to order a msa header 3into2 then have the shop do a 2.5in exhaust. Is anyone using the msa 3into2 header have any pros or cons about. Anything better for the same price?

Today i sprayed the hood and headlight buckets, the rest of the day was spent of getting the paint dush off EVERYTHING in my garage. The car is still a bit rough and unfinished only because i ran out of sandpaper and primer. On to the pics "outside" for the fist time in multiple weeks. As requested here are the pics not links. The shift handle is temporary.

Minor set back while i was stripping the door,fender and hood i got for pick n pull something horrible happened. The door is covered about 1/8in of bondo just about all over, some parts more but mostly 1/8in. I see no visible large dents as to why they used so much. I'm debating weather or not i should take the time to remove it all and see whats under or go pull another door. The hood and fender came out like it should have all i have left to do is smooth them down a bit and primer them. Pics will come later today.

I got it down good enough with that wheel. I went over it with 60,120. Not everywhere just the real bad parts. Came out really good. Finally my car is almost 1 color.
