  4. I will give it a try tomorrow I'm starting at 10am and i hope to be completely done by tomorrow night. Then friday im having the exhaust done as well as getting it registered. And i will be driving it saturday.
  5. If it looks like this then i have one already. http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/content/ebiz/wilkinsonplus/invt/0208402/0208402_m.jpg
  6. They look similar to the summit ones but there are not. My dad picked these up from somewhere. I had to make my own mounts with square tubing and i got some high grade bolts from osh. I cant say if the are comfortable because i havnt drove in them. They fit okay but a bit high and i had to knock the trans tunnel in a bit.
  7. No no. This is just the airdam. I can remove the paint from the metal body. Some one painted the airdam with house paint and i need to get it off with out eating the urethane/fiberglass away.
  8. i did a little test patch on the back of it and it made it all soggy like. On the can i already had it says not recommended for use on fiberglass.
  9. That was the only damage to the car. Everything else was good, beside the fact someone took the motor and trans and killed the exhaust and rear suspension in the process. MJLam. There are mostly 280z's that have everything in them. There is a orange one in there right now with a mint center console no discoloration, dings, anything. I seen one 260 and five 240's. They are gone now since i was went. But they were pulling in two z31's as i was leaving.
  10. I found a air dam at pick n pull which i bought and put on my car. I am sanding it down but the person who painted it seemed to use house paint and its really thick. I'm killing sand paper trying to get through it. So is there anything that i can use to strip the paint without eating up the urethane/fiberglass? I'm making a trip to kragen to buy a can of "tal strip mar-hyde" so finish the body. Would they carry anything that would work?
  11. I think so, if the msa ones have xeon(?) on the back then it is. Paid 55$ for it at pick n pull.
  12. I know read up in the first post i said why i didnt post them. I didn't have my better camera with me out side, i can try to retake them today.

  14. Off topic. Anyone know where to find the paint formula for bmw alpine white color code 300? Or a place that sells it. Tried ebay no luck.
  15. Any one know of a place between Stockton and San Jose. It would be best if they worked on SU's in particular. Any info that can be provided will be helpful. If there is a thread with a list link me to it. I have to get back to sanding. Thnks. -Carfan
  16. I'd be down with some plates as well.
  17. ^^ I'll take two and throw in the girl as a free extra. LOL
  18. I have seen cans of "smoke spray" for headlights and tailights. Might be able to get a can on ebay. Found it: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=smoke+spray&category0=

    Oh Wow

    I r teh poster..last week i believe.
  21. Why is it that they get all the good looking wheels. All the good "deep lip" wheels. I mean we have some but not none like that and if you wanted some your would have to pay just about triple the price for them. As soon as they hit US soil they are considered "rare" and it makes the price skyrocket. I haven't tried to import wheels before this is just what i have seen.
  22. I seen a pair on craigslist going for 400$.
  23. Nice find. Now im going to lose a few hours of my life "ooo'ing and ahhhh'ing" at them.
