  1. welcome kickinback88. We have a wealth of info here , you should try a search on each topic, like t56, mccloud and so on. I'm sure you'll find what your lookin for.
  2. Cool idea. But I see that the whole drivetrain sets very very low.
  3. If you look down the page of that same wilwood site , the internal parking brake kits are there. It even has an exploded view of the assembly. I was thinking of using one of there kits and making an adapter plate for the caliper. I remember seeing a z with a wilwood kit at the MSA show a couple of years ago, so I know it can be done.
  4. Try this place. http://www.mcmaster.com . They usually have everything I'm looking for . Oh one more thing I found the AN fittings are the same thread pitch as JIC. search JIC
  5. Do they have junkyards? I thought we(USA) bought all there leftovers. Something about cars in japan have to have less than 50k KM?
  6. I was an avid biker 7 years ago. Then I got a new job and put astop to that 2 years ago. Man do I miss it. And to top it all off the San Gabriel mountain range has tons of trails.
  7. About the nutinserts, They come in 2 to 3 different depth sizes. For different thickness material's. Maybe that's why they lost there grip? Try this website http://www.mcmastercarr.com . Search nut insert, you'll be surprised from the different assortment. I use the knurled nut rivet. If the hole in the panel goes through the body and into the interior of the car, get the knurled ones with the pvc seal. That will keep water from penetrating through.
  8. really straight and clean looking car. Now I know how my car will look like with the ZG flares. I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!.
  9. Man, and I was so looking forward to meeting all you guys. Thanks for not beating me up for this.
  10. What year is the maxima bracket? Is it the 85-88, the same years as the caliper's? This should almost be a sticky.
  11. I have to hold my head down in shame. For some reason I thought the BBQ was Sunday. I appoligize to you Tim for not bringing the ice.
  12. Man That is sweet!!! I wish I was that computer literate. I just do't understand the downloading of software to PDA's and such, otherwise I would do the MegaSquirt thing.
  13. Well it looks like they are welded together. So they can't be separtated. At least you found out.
  14. I would suggest to contact the seller and get the manufacture name and check to see if they have a website. They normally would have the info your looking for, Otherwise as far as I know 2 pc wheels either have the outer wheel made with the center removeable to change the bolt pattern. But it really is dependent on the manufaturer. BBS makes 2 pc with the outer and the center in one piece and the change the inner rim half to changed the inside offset. But to make sure you should try to get the seller to get you that info.
  15. Now, you do know that when a manufacturer saids an "8 inch rim" .That it's being measured on the INSiDE MOUNTING surface. In other words the wheel is measured without the tire and the distance between the "mounting flandges" So the outside width is actually closer to 9 inches, taking into account for the thickness of the insde and outside flandges. And that may vary from manufacter to manufacter, depending on type of construction( cast or forged). I think if you go to the http://WWW.tirerack.com . They have documentaion that clearifies all this. I hope this helps. By the way I too did have centerline wheels on my car with the stock suspension. They were 17x"7" with a 4 inch backspace. They cleared nicelly the stock body work.
  16. I tried looking for the ad this afterneen. I didn't see it? Is ther any way you could scan it and post? please.
  17. sweet ride tim. Can't wait till next weekend to see it in person.
  18. I'm with tim on this one. I have the taurus fan and when I run the a/c the car actually runs cooler, that's because I run 2 relays, one for low speed and high speed when the a/c is on. I've run it on 93 to 94 degree days and the temps stay at 180 tro 185. So for the sum of 80 clams(25 for the fan 50 for the thermostat and 2 relays) It's really hard to beat the taurus route.
  19. It's coming along nicely. I have aquestion , what's the sanderson part number for the headers?
  20. That's true awd92. But what do you do if you didn't have a/c to begin with? Tha Gen2 cost about 1200. I called VA and they pieced together a system for me. Mind you I had to fabricate the mounting brackets and the dash had to come out to do this. This was NOT a bolt in setup.
  21. I have A Vintage Air Gen2 compact unit. It cools great. Actually I have to set the temp level at 2/3 max, because at max setting it's too cold.
