  1. I was wondering when someone here would do this swap. Good goin.
  2. Bartman, I think you might be able to find more aftermarket bracket's for the sanden unit than you can find for all the OEM compressor's. You can find unpolished saden unit's for alittle over $100. That's just my opinion. Hey as soon as you get all hooked up I can go over and help you evact. and charge you system. I have the charging manifold.
  3. I thought my car was heavy. Lose the stereo and put some 240 bumpers on her, that should knock of 100 lbs.
  4. Yes, Motor Sport Auto (MSA)has a kit for the ZX's. Her's a link. v8 kit for ZX And welcome to HybridZ
  5. I went with the 300z versions. The reason being that the 280zxt cv's didn't clear the suspension technique rear sway bar I was using . And the 300's did. They also look to be a stronger design in my humble opinion.
  6. Bartman I just found the reciepts. The parts No. for the condensor is 03245-VUC. The 4-way bulkhead I used was 34218-VUQ. The streamline control panel is 48104-RHQ. The evporator kit comes with the vents, but you could ask them to delete them to save some money, since you are using the stock vents.
  7. nwzeeman. I found the carb install maunels in the "JOB OPENINGS" link of Edelbrocks main webpage. Then I hit the " Automotive" link at the top. then the carb link at the left. It's kinda funny and round about way of getting the info? Good luck.
  8. OUCH, OUCH, OUCH I would been doing this
  9. Stevej, That's a very stout looking mount. It looks like it would take quite a few hours to make. But I like it alot.
  10. here's mine. And I'm rebuilding her one more time. This car is goin to kill me. a before and after the crash.
  11. 500 to the rear wheels!!!! I'd be happy with 400. But you know us hybridz'rs, we'd get use to it and want more. But man, those are impressive number's.
  12. Ya I'm with Mikelly on that, no shame at all. I had to get my roll cage done. I didn't trust my welding skills at the time. Oh by the way , you have one great job.
  13. Thanks Bart. I think we have similar taste's in wheels. I'll be puting my old centerlines up for sale soon.
  14. Wow, is all that going to fit under the stock hood? That's impressive. I would like to see more. I can only imagine the HP.
  15. Thanks inital. I'll look for another picture. I hope V8Z doesn't mind me using his picture. I couldn't find a good picture of my car with the right angle.
  16. You should go to Pete Paraska's webpage. He's got alot of info on his install. lets see if I can put a hyperlink. Petes webpage
  17. Damn Initial ,is that really photoshoped? That looks really good. I got some wheels that I would like to try on my car. Sorry for hijacking this thread.
  18. No you don't need the resister. In fact you need a full 12 volts to the HEI unit. Cut that bad boy resiter out of there.
  19. welcome. Try these. design products racing . They are in O.C. They can even cut and weld your struts for you.
  20. grimlynsan, I guess you brought up a good point on the pinto thing. I guess if ford did infact continue with production of the Explorer, IF it was prooven that they knew there was a problem or defect, then I would have awarded the 60 mil. BUT in this case the driver was clearly at fault.
  21. I don't know. I mean I can se the pain that the family is going through, but to blame Ford. If anyone is to blame it would be the driver.
  22. I googled " holley carb 6468" and got a list from Pirate4x4.com. Your carb is listed there.
