  1. Can you take a shot of how they look from the front of the car with the lights off? Do they look just like a sealed beam headlight? I prefer the sealed beam look rather then the projector look.
  2. So what are you waiting for? I can't understand how you can afford to build a 1000hp 2jz and then skimp on tuning! That is the most important part of a high pressure turbo engine. Doesn't matter what parts you put in the engine if you don't have a good tune you can still kill the engine. Edit: Sorry, I didn't see the above two posts.
  3. Do you still have the factory computer? Could you plug that in and see if it still revs (I know your engine is a lot different then stock, but it should still rev past 2500rpm with the factory one). That will eliminate the computer or sensors.
  4. Some photos in this thread http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,4235.0.html One of the Australian guys has his name down on one.
  5. Always wanted an XJS with anything but the Jaguar V12 I know the rear window does nothing for aerodynamics, but I have always loved the cutout look This would do it for me http://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4396
  6. Or do a continuity test from ECU output plug to coil plug to determine which output is which.
  7. Can the AEM test outputs? I can test all my Motecs outputs. I.E. I can tell which cylinder is firing/injecting without starting the car. Very good for double checking your wiring before you fire the car up for the first time. You also said that you couldn't have wired it wrong because the loom is fitted to the coils, but didn't you splice in an AEM Loom? Couldn't you have spliced the wrong cylinder wires in? If your computer doesn't support the testing of outputs, then remove your crank angle sensor (or get a second one) and spin it by hand while watching the spark plugs fire.
  8. The ferrari looks like he parked next to you. Either that or he can't park too.
  9. You can't park Phil! Ha, just kidding, car is looking good.
  10. Could try one of these http://www.xforce.com.au/cars/view_car/29
  11. Why not just start with the bigger injectors? Otherwise you have to tune twice, once with the 450ccs and again with the 720s. I know the second tune will be easier but still a nuisance.
  12. Well, I finally made it to the drag racers. Best I could get was a 14.5 second quarter. Bit disappointed as I thought it had a 13 second in it. Was dropping the clutch at about 3500rpm and was changing a little too late (Changing around 6000, could feel the power dropping off above 5500). So might be able to drop a few tenths off that with a bit of practice, but still not quite what I was hoping for. R/T - 0.245 60 - 2.386 1/8 - 9.534 @ 77.78 1/4 - 14.596 @ 99.11
  13. That is because you have one awesome looking garage, how big is that? I found my dream house the other day, the wife even asked if we could afford to do it because she wanted me to have it (or maybe she just wanted my crap out of the house). It had a 12m x 12m x 4.5m high besser block shed (Read 40' x 40' x 15').
  14. You can send them to me Tony. I will hold them for you until your next trip back here. I can even "Run them in" for you.
  15. Above post fixed. Nice looking car by the way. You guys get cars for far too cheap over there.
  16. Your dad will understand when he gets a ride in Ron's M3 powered Z. All sins will be forgiven then.
  17. The little kids get sticks and poke the big man.
  18. Did I hear someone say "Comic book guy"? HA, that's hilarious
  19. Do you want some car with your turbo
  20. WOW. I guess Z31s are cool. Lots of very cool fabrication work there mate.
  21. No, just trying to get you going about the 1200 utes again. You know you want one. HA.
  22. I don't understand how you can use that much carbon fiber in an engine bay, and then have to use duct tap to seal it! In regards to the fiber glass tubing, max pressure looks good, but is the vacuum rating large enough? I find when I am just idling around that my boost gauge reads down around 10 to 20psi in vacuum.
  23. Bought for your daughter right? HA. Just kidding, I am sure it will still be fun. Something about driving a small car on the limit and having it beg for more. I know it's not the same but that's why I love my daily driver corolla. 325000kms of abuse and it still wants more.
  24. And I thought you were just trying to swear on the forum. Do you have close up photos?
