Well done mate. Hopefully racing teams in the states pay better then over here. I have a mate that worked for 888 racing over here (V8 Supercars). He would be doing 6 long day weeks and on race weekends working the weekend too. Worked his but off for about half the pay that me and other mates in industrial engineering were making. But then again, HE LOVED IT. Still goes and helps them out, especially on race weekends, even though he no longer works there. Guess if you love it, you can put up with other drawbacks.

Phil, Were you just lucky to have such nice chrome surrounds on your lights, or did you get them redone. I started polishing up one set of my surrounds and found it had excellent chrome, but then realised it was the side that didn't have the exhaust underneath it. The exhaust side one has the chrome pitting and didn't come up nice at all.

I have seen Derek's link in his signature so many times. I only just clicked it today. I laughed so hard when I saw it, well done mate. For all the people that don't know what I am talking about, this is it I think it should be mandatory viewing everytime you have to accept the rules.

Yeah possible, but I don't think so. I reckon their dyno was just reading low. Still haven't had a chance to get it to the 1/4 mile (Never seem to have time). Once I do that I think I will know where I am at.

HA!!! That would be awesome. If you do that, you also need a camera where the speedo goes, so that we can see the look on the would be thieves face when they break in, sit down and realise, OH CRAP, there is no wheel. ZR8ED. Even though you don't drive your Z much, I bet you really enjoy those 1-2kmiles a year. I know I do with mine. Just keep it and accept that it is a special once off car.

Not too sure about the white. Maybe if the rear spoiler and side skirts were red and just the flares/bumper were white. As for the 450hp RB30DET. You can still have it as a driveable engine, you just use less throttle.
