  1. I have an 83 that is a core, you can have it. The bearing pushed out the front cover come pick it up in Snellville if you want it.
  2. +1 and a HUGE PILE at that. Love the wheels and the spoiler, hate every thing else that has been shot onto the body with tape and wood screws.
  3. -You're so right, there has never been a successful zxt lsd swap into an s30 with out one-off axles. Good observation. Can we get back on topic and have some real world experiece with the obx, please. I also read internet threads both for and against obx reliability and functionality they all seem to point out the importance of setup. Questions like "condition of diff prior install" and "previos experience setting up/tuning with obx diffs" I feel are some of the important ones. The Honda croud loves these things, and they also have an expensive factory JDM option, but tons of guys run obx's because they are cheap, plentiful, and the set-ups well documented. I'd love to be able to say the same for the r200, unfortunatly at this point I can not.
  4. Not sure on the effect of cut springs, but concerning the first part of your question.. "225/50/16 on all four.. stock suspension...". You could almost say "Everybody's doing it".
  5. Nice ride Rebekah, those Rotas make such a good fitment. Not too big, still pretty good street tire selection... jealous, I'm on 15's looking for some 17's and not excited about the look But all in the name of street tires.
  6. .006 does not change compression considerably. A flat top p90 is 8.8 shaved .006 woud be about 8.86-8.9.

  8. If memory serves me the last time I weighed a s130 hatch glass it came in a 18 lbs. I know, I was astonished too. Mine will still get lexan as the weight is up so high.

Not sure if you completely missed it, but the modifications in question go well beyond simple 50/50 weight bias and indeed have a large impact on PMOI. 50/50 is much easier to acheive without mods like this in most cases. In my zx (79) I am gunning hard for weight before the front wheel centerline, beyond that their will be no setting back of the major components, engine and trans. But I do not have a "football feild" between the engine and firewall either.
  10. I completely agree. Hybridz is the beez neez! Whenever something comes up with one of my other vehicles or that of friends/family I find my self searching for a related forum that is worth a damn. The Z croud (myself included) often don't know how good we have it here. Makes me want to go donate!

  16. Yup, the t3 7064 is the perfect bolt on for most any L28-L31 IMO. Those wheels are Bad A$$. Good luck finding one though, as every one seems to be out of stock. I hope they are available when I'm ready to upgrade.
