  1. It's called a CableX box, from Abbott's. It was originally designed for the trucking industry. You can get one through John's cars. I am sure there are other places. Mike
  2. Doesn't really answer your question, but when mine was jumpy, I had to re-route the cable so that the bends were very gentle. No more jumpiness after another year and a half. I kept my stock speedo too because I could not find one with the indicator lamps. Mike
  3. Mine is also located on the left fender just ahead of the shock tower. I used the GTO plastic mount, but I ground and trimmed it to contour to the fender. It really doesn't take any space at all now. Mike
  4. Congrats on a year of driving. Way more fun than working on it eh? I do like the new grill. Mike
  5. Very nicely done. Great looking car. Enjoy the ride. Mike
  6. Just got back from my first drive after installing the R/T mount from Roostmonkey. What an incredible difference. Even though I had a new diff mount and snubber belt, I had a pretty good vibration under hard acceleration. With the R/T (Thanks Ron for the design) mount, along with the stock Datsun mount, when I step on the gas the car just goes. Incredibly smooth. Anybody want to buy an almost new snubber belt? Mike
  7. So much depends on the paint, interior, suspension, wheels and tires, etc. You have to be really specific to get any kind of a valuation.
  8. If the roads are truck-rutted as bad as some around here, Its sometimes hard to keep anything on the road. Also, if you have a tire with a bad belt, especially on the front, it will make any rutting many times worse. I had a bad tire on my suburban and it was down right dangerous. Mike
  9. Here's mine, if you can call it a workshop. Sorry, its all kind of a mess right now.
  10. The resonator should really help alot. I have one ahead of my Magnaflow, and it is really pretty quiet until I get on it . I drove a couple of 8 hour stints on a road trip last summer and the pipes were drowned out by the whining of the rear end. Hoping to get the RE back in by this week end with new R&P, bearings, and seals. Mike
  11. I love the sounds and the swap. I can see why you might want to tone it down just a little. Mike
  12. Mine also came with bolts. Only took a week. Mike
  13. Paint code 411 like it came from the factory, but now with clear coat.
  14. I've had Turn Six sway bars on my car since the mid 80's, but I don't know anything about their springs. Mike
  15. 1. Motor is '05 GTO LS2, had 3509 miles on it. 2. Tranny is T56 from said GTO 3. Used JCI kit, also fan, AC kit, and drive shaft. JTR radiator, and Sanderson headers. 4. ECU programmed by Diablo Sport and use their tuner. B&M shifter now with my own shift lever with custom knob. Just last night welded in BAD DOG frame rails. R200 clsd on the bench right now installing new R&P, bearings, and seals. Tockico adjustable shocks, and springs. Turn 6 sway bars. 4 point roll bar. All stock guages. New carpet, paint, 18X8 wheels with Toyo T1R's 245/40/18. All new carpet and weather stripping 2 years ago. Retained GTO throttle-by-wire. Currently waiting for RT mount to show up. Leather Corbeau seats were a present from my lovely wife. 5. Have owned this car for nearly 27 years. Second owner. The engine swap itself was started 11/13/06 and finished 12/23/06. This was only accomplished by doing a lot of research on HybridZ, ordering all the parts in advance, and having a lot of very patient HybridZ members answer a lot of questions. That's all I remember right now. Mike
  16. This is the GTO linkage that is covered by the big white plastic thing (when used in the GTO). This is why most of us are using the B&M.
